Youngest owner of a z32
Welcome, your gonna have plenty of time to work on that before your allowed to drive it! Have you looked at insurance, I'd be surprised if they don't just laugh. Sorry if that sounds like I'm being a dick but seriously a 1 litre fiesta is gonna cost you 2-2.5k to insure in your first year. The insurance will be daylight robbery till your 21. What are your plans restoration wise? The kit is an impul kit and yes it's pretty rare. There are similar skirts that are easier to find that you could use to complete the kit. What's going on with the interior of the passenger door, it's red. Has the door been switched at some point? That gurgling noise you can hear is your AIV most likely full of water. Get those deleted. Your oil pressure does appear to work for a few seconds then dies. Probably requires a new sender, nice easy job. Please don't free rev your car like that esp on a cold engine, it won't thank you for it.

Farewell....

What did you do to your zed today?
Why do you think I go fishing? Some of the places I go I won't see another soul for the whole day. There is honestly nothing more wonderful than to be outside in the wilds. Wether that's up to your eyes in stinging nettles stalking fish in clear water or walking the dog through expansive pine forests and heathland. I hate the city, I don't feel at home there. Even the Bournemouth town is too much for me to be comfortable. Who wouldn't want to spend a day here; I took that about 6.30am a few weeks back, the mist lifting off the Dorset stour waiting for the day of surprises to arrive.

What did you do to your zed today?
Haha! Yeah I had so many other interests, still do. School was just in the way of the rest of life really. I hated it, secondary school was the worst five years of my life. I would compare my old school to a prison really. Where I grew up is on the out skirts of a large town in a county that is 95% rural so it's not too bad. However the 70s saw a massive influx of "travellers" settling into the estates and the 80s saw the druggies being sent here to "rest" they never went home. The kids I went to school with were a mix of the spawn of these people.

Almost defiantly. When I was about 12/13 it was all the rage, so much so eventually the local area ran dry of cars with metal dust caps. They used to steal a set of four of the car, two went on there bike and the other two they sold on. Paid for Turkey twislers or panda pops at lunch because your parents would never give you enough money for a proper lunch. I must admit I had a set on my mongoose menace, I paid for mine on the "black market" haha, I didn't used to eat at school so I could spend the money on other things, usually fish or fishing bait, sad I know.

Roof trims... Advice needed..
Gold is not cool. Chrome is a touch tacky, gold blows it out the water. Gold wheels can look good, bronze look better. A simple satin black trim would look 100xs better honestly.

V8 - should I or should I not........??
Do it rich, life is short. Buy and enjoy the big lumps while they are still legal, it won't last forever.

UK vs JAP Rear Bumper
Jap bumper 100% can't stand the cluttered UK bumper. Even without the fogs, the long plate makes it look so boring, the square rear recess gives it that feeling that it's not a ford etc.

Should I or shouldn't?
Poole quay. Don't think you can park like that anymore, too many old biffers taking thier car for a dip.

Engine change and respray
Don't loose heart mate. I wouldn't personally start painting a car now, not without a heated booth. The humidity raises very quickly outside atm. It will end up all milky. Without being rude as said I think you need to go back to the basics, watch some tutorials, they really help. Most importantly, take your time. Make life easier for yourself by painting the car a solid colour too, that way there's no multiple layers. If you make a run etc you can sand back and re do that part. Candys and pearls are a notorious pita, for those who know how. Us armatures have to take easy options. I just had my first go with the gun and did my bonnet. It took me a week, hour here and there letting it go off and wet sanding etc.

White smoke, spluttering, rattling, everything
Have you ascertained the cause of your issue yet? It's very admirable that your getting on with the service items but I don't think they will cure your initial issue.

Should I or shouldn't?
I love the jap bumper in comparison, looks more exotic with the square cut out.

Should I or shouldn't?
A despoilered Lwb looks wrong. It makes it long out of proportion and arse heavy. For some reason, maybe it's to do with balancing the larger bumper once the spoiler is added, bang it looks instantly shorter. Played this game myself you see. A Swb can pull off the despoilered look, the Lwb cannot.

Should I or shouldn't?
Remove the stillen rear lip. De tango the lights and tint the fogs. Done. Is that a stock exhaust as well?
-
do you need a trailer licence to use a car trailer ?
Yeah that's right isn't. Even with a HGV liecense you still need a separate tow liecense for your car. Craziness.

do you need a trailer licence to use a car trailer ?
What's hilarious is because you happened to pass your test after a certain date you can't tow, or are very restricted. If you passed before that date you can. This doesn't take into account anything other than this. Which means just because your older regardless of wether you've towed a thing in your life you can just hitch up the moon and pull it...I do agree with the tow law because there's so many idiots out there that shouldn't be towing but I think it should apply to everyone not just people who happen to have passed their test after X date.

Z wheels
Can't ban legends my friend.

Z wheels
Your colour blind. How can we trust your taste, you can't even see what your looking at properly. First the Orange/Red one, then the Blue/Black one and now these wheels. only messing with you Gary.

The Great Japanese Interior Re-trim
Looks bang on that mate.
-
Exhaust - What do I need?
Front pipes should be the same mate, the car is the same other than a few inches in the centre. I think it's after the B pillar it changes slightly. Not much mind, subframes for example are the same.

New injectors
Check this before you take my word for it. I believe jecs=nismo. By far the cheapest way to bigger injectors is to buy them off something else, some scoobies have 500cc jecs injectors that fit in the late spec rails. Obviously bear in mind you must match the injector connector with what ever injector to fit. Equally as you know you will need a chip or map to suit the injectors which is where using tried and tested ones come in... How big an injector do you need? Do you even need new ones? Or would having the stock ones cleaned and tested do the job?

Great news mate. You've had your ups and downs with her, as we've discussed. Get driving it and enjoy it!!!
