I'd say NA. It's more likely to have had the front bumper, which appears to of once been red, replaced, than the clocks which read 165,000. A mix of KM and miles I expect. That paint on the rear of the sill rings alarm bells to me as well.

Don't think your compressor is up to it mate. If you had a leak that big, you'd hear the hiss straight off. Might be worth flicking the engine over and trying again though.

I doubt it's a genuine veilside car, it's not got a complete kit etc. I also doubt it has 400hp, that's the number banded around for a boost upgrade, chip and bolt ons. I expect in reality it's running about 330-340bhp. Still not to be sniffed at. Aside from that you've found a serious bargain. That's the desirable format, with some extras. Look forward to seeing what sorta state she's in.

Just bear in mind, there are cheaper kits, japspeed lock out bar for example. Sadly these retain the stock arms and ball joints that are usually what was broken to start with. You will have to modify your hubs to accept the driftworks kit. I must confess I didn't do that but myself. Jaffa did the original install.

I have the driftworks delete on mine mate, your more than welcome to have a nose at it.

That's fair enough. Just ribbing you anyways. Spraying well isn't a skill learnt over night is it, I'm not happy with my bonnet. Got moisture in the clear coat and it's acrylic. So il strip it back and have another go. Bigger moisture trap on the compressor outlet maybe. Lots to learn.

Yeah, it's not quite as good as it could be, however the situation before, that you had to buy six months in one go( I know you can claim it back but it's a faff) left you bringing your car out early for spring then regrudgingly putting it away early as paying out six months for that extra month or so, was just a pita. Whilst it's actually more expensive monthly, it's just easier to swallow and you could in theory tax the car 9 months only with ease.

Those 350 wheels are quite a popular choice these days arn't they, not bad looking either.

It's not just the cover tbh mate, silly things like if I leave it for a few months the reversing beeper just jams on, or it will fire up on four/five cylinders. The car just seems happier to be used more frequently, get warm and move about.

I agree Si. The black bonnet created a weird notch like effect, made her look very arse heavy. The fogs, I dunno why but they do look dark and tired in pictures. They arn't. I think maybe it's contrast with the crystal indicators. Maybe some late spec indicator/corner lights would balance it up better. It's the wheels that bother me most often, as you know. Then after a good clean they look 100xs better. I'd switch to 350 Rays but I need more rubber not less. Having no where to store a zed in winter is crap, we all know that. The last two winters mines gone into hibernation. I think I can honestly say it's received more weather related damage than being used. So in honour of the new tax law, allowing the payment to be monthly, making life easier and the extensive anti rust program I went through last winter, I've decided to just keep driving it, unless it's salty/raining. I agree. Although I think a couple of night time shots in the rain would help your case. I don't really get these type of bays. Surely if you can park in it you have the blue badge, that enables you to park on double yellows. I think a single yellow would be far more applicable and less prone to misinterpretation. There's one outside my neighbours house, it makes that one look perfectly legible though it's that faded. Never seen anyone pay it the slightest bit of notice.

Mines solid as a rock....for a car that does lots of road miles then the Nismo or poly like I used to have would be a better choice than solid rose joint type.

My 1989/90 model has folding but not heated. JDM car. I thought it was UK/EURO spec that had the heated non folders.

All JDMs do, think it's a legal thing. What he was referring to I believe is the auto fold in out function with the ignition. Which is rarer.

I'd take a manual NA over an auto TT anyway, if i couldn't convert it.
