Just saw this one on ebay and wondered if it was a TT or not. It has a TT bumper but no boost gauge. (and its a '91 so they had them then)

It looks quite clean with no rust, but it has had a horrible bumper re-spray so that would lead me to think it is an NA

FYI i'm not buying it :D

I'd say NA. It's more likely to have had the front bumper, which appears to of once been red, replaced, than the clocks which read 165,000. A mix of KM and miles I expect. That paint on the rear of the sill rings alarm bells to me as well.

The clocks have been replaced though - it appears to be a JDM model with a speedo in MPH.

Probably an NA....looks a bit of a turd to be honest. Looks like the sills have been welded up, the front end is on the cock with panel gaps askew, there's rust streaming from under the rear lights and the paint is as flat as anything. There's also some strange marking on the rear bumper - hint of a poor repair maybe? I wouldn't touch that with a barge pole. Imagine up close it'll look even worse.

TT should also have a spoiler

It's had the clocks changed or modified so that could explain why there's no boost gauge.

NAs had spoilers up until late 97. Only US market NAs came without spoilers across the lifespan of the vehicle.

So they have, doesn't look like UK speedo does it, equally if it were it would be twin turbo due to the lack of UK NAs. I recon it's just an overlay accompanied with a speed corrector.

And it's a 4 wheel drive too - according to the advert; not to mention the leather seats that are so obviously tweed.....

As above, it's a very, very rough NA and best avoided at all costs....:nono:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
