  1. You will likely see very similar pics from me in coming weeks. Lots of car meets like this on the sea front and harbour front, for free. Only catch is they are rather selective. Most stipulate all cars must be pre 83, it's been pre 83 for about 15 years. Anyways they are doing one which is for red soft or removable roofed sports cars, think I can swing that lol.
  2. He won't be spending his own money Russ, just like he has given a tax brake to his buddies of recent. In serious reply to if we should be deciding such an important thing, I believe we should yes. Such an important issue should be decided by the people and not merely dictated to us by a small finically elite group. That is fundamental in a democracy and something we see all too little of IMO. I think the outcome is forgone though as the idea the referendum will actually be fair is pie in the sky.
  3. In the boot on the right under the hump. Let us know if it solves your issue.

I'm discussing this with the 350 boys as they are going already, about 15-20 of them.

It appears castle Combe is holding a japfest style day now that japfest is no longer held here. Any interest? Further information here; http://www.japday.co.uk/buy-tickets/
  6. I did mine the same a few years back.
  7. Cam angle sensor, top left. There's a four pin connector. It does sound like its the ptu though.
  8. Disconnecting the Idle valve should drop the base idle on a warm engine to like 650. If it's sitting higher than this then you need to investigate other things too, such as the base idle, TPS etc. I have mine sat at 1k rpm at idle because it improves drivability, my neutral switch has failed.
  9. Looks like it, my wheels are the same ford anthracite grey.
  10. How do people feel some way into this? Has anyone changed camp, cemented an opinion etc? Does it even feel like any things being done. I think we can all agree that the 9million pound leaflet drive were all about to receive in coming days is both unfair and a waste of tax payers money.
  11. Sold now anyway. Could of been a good flipper that.
  12. Try cleaning and cleaning the contacts on the PTU and CAS before you get too worried.
  13. Look pretty good to me too. Bit of carbonation on the outside, electrodes not damaged or pitted. Be interested to hear learned opinions but I'd be happy with that myself.
  14. Maybe ok then. Even the stock diff whines on solids.
  15. When you referbed your subframe did you go poly or solid diff mounts?
  16. Just gotta keep it that way now
  17. One of them isn't it. I've got some cheapish rears atm to pass the mot. But 2nd is a waste of space. Full throttle in 2nd soon as I hit boost unless conditions are perfect she's spinning. I had Pzeros before and tbh things weren't a whole lot better, after they went below 3mm. Need to do something, rears brake free and the fronts lock up too easy. That's with 225/40/18 and 265/35/18s.
  18. Useful to know. I'm tempted to just throw some really sticky tyres on them. It's not like I use it in the wet or even drive many miles.
  19. Yeah. It's tolerable to me and that's what matters. The cars super sharp now. However I may switch to a softer spring rate, everything else is in place to compensate and will give me a ride that's more British road compliant. It's fine on main roads but on the back streets etc it's pretty harsh. I believe the rate it either 12-10k or 10-8k. It's better now the alignment is done, absorbs the little bumps but the big ones are awful. In the rear there is plenty of room from travel yet but I need to modify the front arch liners, then I can happily go to a 8-6k or 6-4k. I know someone will say, just make it higher but that won't change the spring rate and it's not crazy low as it is. The dampening isn't adjustable.
  20. The most common reason the hi as light comes on is the PS fluid is low.
  21. Recon there's enough room on them for 245 and 265s? Or are those pretty tight already? Those wheels are on my short list.
  22. Looks good. What size rubber have you squeezed onto the Rays?
  23. In that case if the plugs weren't meeting the requirements I'm sure he would of said, no?
  24. You deserved a holiday mate, glad you and the family had a good time.
  25. I like the gram lights mate.
