  1. Personally it's one he SHOULD keep to himself.
  2. Yeah it's not an issue. Just gotta be mindful. Lost as to why it doesn't bloody start.
  3. Happy birthday Gary.
  4. 10L of fuel in. Still won't start, just cranks and cranks but never catches. FFS! I'm starting to worry that the sensor blocked the oil way and that's why. Surely even with Zero oil pressure it should still start?
  5. The washer was just belt and braces really. I was relying on the RTV to make it a perfect seal. But yeah point taken. It's my fault I was rushing, we all know what it's like trying to steal an hour here or there round family. Do you agree with my theory though that it shouldn't actually cause an issue.
  6. So some of you may recall me showing how i was going to utilise the LHD oil pressure sender hole to mount the oil temp sender. I even messed about and checked that it all fitted on the bench with a spare I oil tree had. That went smoothly. Today I grabbed a spare hour and attempted to fit the sender. This happened; Initially I thought, shit, damn, **** and further expletives. I know how much of a nightmare removing the tree is. So in my thought train I looked at the tree. It seems this block has a funny little bracket in the way, it's a hook type thing, right in the bloody way of one of the bolts. So that is a no go. After I calmed down I realised, actually how much of an issue is this. Effectively I've just fitted another bung, just one that cannot be removed. Obviously it was tight or it wouldn't of sheared, I also used a dab of RTV. So a seal should of been made. So other than disabling the hole, it's unlikely to of caused an issue. Just a case of fire it up and see if it's sealed, which logically it should be right? Bloody thing won't start now though, probably because it's 2ft off the ground at the front and it was nearly empty of fuel. Hopefully that's just a simple problem. Oh stuff like this is annoying isn't it.
  7. It's normally covered by a rubber boot. Behind the boot is a push clip. I suspect someone's either replaced it with a non genuine one or they left it hooked up when pulling the engine and broke it, I've done that one myself.
  8. Think that's the same as mine. Stage 2, rated for 500ftlb?
  9. I too have a little toy 300zx from my childhood, found it when my parents sold up the family home. It now lives on the dash board of my van.
  10. Does this help? http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?171694-Speedo-Speed-sensor-Not-working http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1153110/Continuity-test-of-speed-sensor-inconclusive.html
  11. Think they are that crackle black. The guy is a member on 300zxclub.com.
  12. Because you can't find TransAMs/Cameros in right hand drive.
  13. No. If you don't have the 89 spoiler, the little flat one that's moulded into the hatch then you will have the Perspex strip that mounts in. If you do have it the spoiler covers that area and even affixes there, then there's a vynal sticker that goes on the bottom to create the same lozenge effect that the strip creates.
  14. Really, I'm shocked about that. I feel it makes the back look finished. Whenever I see the 89 spoiler without it I think it looks unfinished. It completes the lozenge shape.
  15. Unfortunately I think it will only continue. The beginning of the entertainment age lot are now hitting an age. We have had more celebs than ever before in the last 50 years, so it's stands to reason will start loosing an ever increasing amount. Yesterday the mother from Everbody Loves Raymond died aswel.
  16. Alright leave the rod on the bank. Just baiting you. However it won't make any difference parked will it? lol you won't have it anyways on the NA.
  17. He did didn't he. I remember thinking, "oh how dramatic, man up" maybe he really was in a bad way.
  18. - - - Updated - - - Without a driving liecence it won't make a Gnats cock.
  19. Hopefully, we should know soon. The other spot we had over on the bank by the entry gate was great as well.
  20. I suspect the phrase has been coined. Ie it's always been super HICAS but the super prefix has been dropped and applied to define the early vs late design.
  21. I was under the same impression.
  22. Should have news in the coming days of our plot for this year.
  23. Muchhhhhhh, better. Watch a few YouTube tutorials on wet sanding of it worries you. I was really apprehensive about it myself but as long as you follow the grades and stick at it it comes up great. Just a touch scary that first grit.
  24. I think day to day your right Andrew, you won't feel it. For me I only found it an issue on the limit and over the limit. I take what you say about it being incorporated in some high end new cars however it's my understanding that they are a bit more advanced. Very similar to the conversation being had recently about automatics, they have come along way. I had the early 89 hydraulic version.
