  1. Shame you don't do just a very simple lip for the 89 fascias.
  2. Obviously I wasn't there, however I've been to Japfest when it was at castle Combe a fair few times. I think the largest issue for this club is the fact that we didn't have a set person to co-ordinate for us. Simply relying on one member of another club is a bit unfair. This is why there were no banners. It takes a fair bit of juggling to organise three clubs at once and even with it all in order things still happen. For example a few years back at Simply the stewards decided to separate all the Z33/34s away from the rest, ended up parked in different parts of the show ground, annoying. I'd say, next year id take Japfest on for us. However with it not being in the south anymore and the way it fell I'm not sure il be going next year either. I feel if someone from here took up the batton next year and helped out, not just flags etc but it's the conscious effort to badger people to go. I think we missed out this year. With that in mind, your going to see a lot of Simply bumping.
  3. Yes, across the two connection pins.
  4. 31 cars, most of them z32s. Filling up nicely to be a great day out. Still time to top last years 50! Some of which can be seen here. Note to self, don't photo bomb press photographers, you end up in things like Honest John. Whoops! http://classics.honestjohn.co.uk/news/event-news/2014-08/beaulieu’s-simply-japanese-is-a-hit/ With a touch more voting I think we have a serious chance this year of winning the people's choice award after a few years now where we've had multiple cars in the final selection. But no first place, the potentials there, just got to seize it.

  6. You didn't leave the tail off like that did you? Mucky pup.
  7. I have to agree with Pete too. The enthusiasm and time are your issue and finding either of those to pull apart a car that you don't really want to pull apart and deal with the crap is pretty demanding. That other block you've got might not take all that much cash/effort to refresh. Exchanging the blocks is something that can be done over a weekend quite casually.
  8. Drove past it twice on way two and from work, looked at it floating on the stands. Won't be touching it this weekend though, way too busy.
  9. We've had it down here as well, it's not settled but still, we don't get snow this far down normally.
  10. A few regular posters have disappeared over the last few years. Weather isn't exactly zed friendly atm either, spring is a bit late this year.
  11. Take less drugs Birdy.
  12. What happened to your old inter cooler set up ash? Out of interest?
  13. If there was someone to take advice from, it doesn't get better than that.
  14. Gt675's are very popular, although starting to get a touch laugh by all accounts. However with your breather mods lag should be low. A pair of gt2860s should see 500bhp and be very responsive with your bolt ons. It's really a personal thing, I'd take response with good mid range over a big lump at the top any day. Read some experiences and set ups from owners.

    Well that scuppers that then.
  16. Winner. Just go from 44 is less wiring. You can drop it through the gaitor without worrying about hitting the exhaust. Easy.
  17. You can diagnose loads with a multimeter and a little thinking. Isolate which cylinder(s) Check for spark and fuel, invariably one is missing. Check/clean the connector Ohm test the offender, coil or injector. (Probably best to ohm all the injectors anyways, preventative) Check for supply to the connector. All the how's of this are easily found via search. No harm in asking though. Dirty connections are THE number one culprit.

On call I'm afraid. Might do sushi Sunday.
  19. The pin 44 wire goes via the Auto ecu where it becomes pin 13 from memory, check the pin out. It will be easier to run a cable from ecu 44 to the switch and then delete the starter relay, which is what's in the wing. If I see you Saturday il show you. Have you tested the neutral switch yet?
  20. Pops likes his auto Bird, leave him be.
