  1. Hmm, any chance this was written by a Shell employee? ;) :D
  2. I would put money on it being the ecu. My old zed was doing this and a change of ecu cured it. I think it may have been caused by jump starting the car, but could never prove it. Gareth
  3. I'd consider a Lexus GS300 at that price range, they seem very good value for money and meet 90% of your criteria. I've seen the newer shape 4.3 litre ones going for silly money considering their original sale price.
  4. Here's a film about the Jun Autos tuning company that shows some good footage of the the record breaking 300ZXs. Enjoy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5APKfspluUY&mode=related&search=
  5. Courtesynissan.com is there but the parts website courtesyparts.com isn't. I guess they forgot to renew their contract with their domain provider. ** *****x - beaten to it ** :o
  6. Cheers for that Andy, will take a look later on.
  7. No. Both were working fine up until today, the after market one is plumbed in on a t-piece. I'm guessing that the boost sensor could be at fault, but I have never heard of one them fail before?
  8. For some reason my stock boost gauge has stopped working, it just sits to the far left (as it does when ignition is off) on -7. I have an after market boost gauge which is working fine - shows good vacuum on idle and boost under load. There doesn't appear to be any pipes hanging off that I can see anywhere. Any ideas? Is the stock gauge electrical or mechanical? Cheers
  9. Here you go (if you want to buy instead of downloading)... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Initial-Drift-Racer-Anthony-Wong/dp/B000FMGTAS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1199375300&sr=1-1
  10. Been in work since 8.00... ...not actually done any work though ;)
  11. 88%, that was another 15 minutes of work time spent wisely! only another 5 hours to go...
  12. Heres one...(halfway down page) http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpartlist.php?make=Nissan&carcode=Z32A&intake=NA&category=interior Not a UK supplier but have heard good things about Greenline before now.
  13. 10k

    Aren't they all  :D
  14. Congratulations to you both, sleepless nights and sh!tty nappies for the forseeable future :D. Our daughter is nearly 7 months old already - make sure you enjoy every moment as it passes bloody fast! Gareth
  15. Nice to see you all, especially after the weather was looking a bit dodgy earlier in the morning. Good pictures you took of my new 'work in progress' Graham, almost looks presentable in them! :o Hope the grub was ok... :smw:
  16. Found another picture of the Mission car(thanks deve8uk for the identification)... Just need to find someone who supplies the kit or can import it! :D
  17. There is a backlog. We had a letter arrive yesterday from the bank which was dated the 8th. They sent sent us several letters dated the same date and the others arrived about a fortnight ago.
  18. I really like this one, understated but purposeful. Would love to be able to find out what the body kit is on this car...
  19. Must confess to liking it, looks very purposeful.
  20. Cheers for that Greg. What is the going rate for a 60K service then, I'd be particularly interested in anybody who has used garages/specialists in the north west...
  21. Has anyone had to have their cam seal(s) replaced before and do you remember what sort of price you paid?. I have an oil leak which looks like one of the cam seals on the drivers side head, there is a fair amount of oil on that side and it looks to be coming from under the cam cover. I am considering having a go myself but I don't feel particularly confident removing and refitting the cam belt successfully. I guess whilst doing the seal(s) I should also consider having the water pump and cam belt changed as well? Cheers Gareth
  22. There is a way that involves shipping to Ireland and registering it there first I believe. Not sure exactly how it works but I think this is one way that the Skyline R34 GTR can be brought into the UK. Don't know much about it and could be totally wrong, but I am sure I read this somewhere...
  23. Here's my RD350, currently partly stripped until I decide what to do with it!.... Its only done 8000 miles as well, I inherited it off my stepdad who also had an earlier 350 which looked the same as the blue one at the top of the page albeit white with red flashes.
  24. I should be able to make this, would be rude not to being so close to home...not likely to stay for lunch though Gareth
  25. Thanks for the responses, I shall pop to the post office tomorrow with the new keeper bit of the V5 and see what happens!
