  1. Well I quite like Christmas actually, but I'd have to say that the whole experience of going into virtually any shop for months before hand and hearing the same old crap songs we've been hearing for the last 20 years does spoil it for me. I quite literally *can't* *stand* that music, and having to listen to it is like a form of mental torture. I think marketeers are ruining it to be honest.
  2. Forget that! I think even the LWB Z with the t-tops in the boot has more space. You really have tracked down an absolute munter of a car there Si. That thing's disgusting.
  3. OK then. Yours looks better than that. Lots better in fact, and I've only seen the pics. ;)
  4. Yeaaahhh... I'm probably in the minority here but that really doesn't do it for me. I think it's awful in almost every conceivable way: exhausts, mismatched tail-lights, that, er, bonnet.... and after all the cash that must have been poured into it, it's still running on stock alloys. Baffling.
  5.   In tears. Quite literally.
  6. Er... what's with the interior? It's not leather (or at least doesn't look like it) and it's not velour. Kind of looks like tweed but I know it can't be, can it? Good spot though, and will make someone very happy no doubt. Just got to lose that nasty facelift spoiler and get it running on 18s and job's a good 'un.
  7. Nice looking motor, but that's some serious money you're talking there. Think I'll stick with buying my house. ;)
  8. Doh! Failed to spot that. So how much did he want for the car itself? Would love an R34 GTR.
  9. Yep, agree you'd be mad to pay that, especially when you consider what you *can* get for a bit less than that (like Chris@GetGreddy's zed). Yeah I know, I'm probably missing the point, but hey.
  10. On a TT, every 1000rpm is roughly 25mph, so a quick calculation suggests 162.5mph or thereabouts.
  11. Looks a lot better than the Veyron too (sorry, but it is kind of minging). Only thing I'm not so sure about is the back, but other than that, gorgeous.
  12. Ouch. Sounds like a nightmare. Hope you get it all sorted mate. Been in that situation with some muppet right up my backside far too many times to count (OK... that sounds slightly dodgy on reflection, but I'll let it stand). Like I say, hope you get it all sorted out... sounds like you've just been snarled up by our delightful beaurocracy. Only thing I've found that works, and really annoys them which is a bonus, is gently easing off and very gradually slowing down. At least it means there's a nice big gap in front of you to give you some room to maneuvre if you need it.
  13. Yep, I love those pages. Very good explanations of a lot of things, and like you say, gets rid of all the myths.
  14. Yep, I was kind of hoping I might find time to go for the day today... but right now I'm at work. Now, how sad is that?
  15. Yeahhhh... I'd like to see just what they look like when the car's stationary (I'm thinking probably awful, but could be wrong). I don't think I'd let 'em anywhere near my car, but that's just a personal thing. I can't get too snooty about chav accessories since I do have a bit of a soft spot for ICE-LED systems.
  16. I think it looks great. Got to agree with Si though that the wheels could do with being pushed out very slightly further in the arches. Other than that it's fantastic. Just wonder if it's got the performance to match the bad boy looks?
  17. Nice one mate! Glad it all worked out.
  18. I think whatever you do there needs to be a significant level of contrast between the wheels and the car, so black on black is a bit of a no-no. The only real exception to this is that silver alloys almost always look good on any colour, assuming they're in a style that suits the car. Something that might work though is black centres and silver rims, and deep-dished obviously (as Si's already suggested).
  19. That's awful. There just aren't enough sick bags in the world. :hurl:
  20. Agreed, although you'd probably have to completely rearrange a few key components to make it all fit... like the front wheels or something. A great piece of work though. I'd love 1350 rwhp in my zed. :)
  21. Eeenteresting. That's not too bad at all considering its an NA. Must be nice to have no lag, and not having to worry about the revs being at 2500 before you get any real power. Wonder what would happen if you did turbo- or super-charge it. :)
