any ideas how my mrs can make money from home?
If I could think of a way of earning a decent living from home, I'd be doing it now.. I have got 3 girls under 25 living in my house though, so I installed secret cameras in their rooms.. Now I get about 100 quid a month from perverts knocking one out when they get changed.. Gotta love the internet.. Hope my missus doesn't read this.... :scared:

Hail storm pics
Old habits die hard eh, daz? :whistling: Drove my old Sierra through a storm like that, I was doing about 70 on the motorway and had to slow down to about 30 - it still wrecked my paintwork on the bonnet.. Nasty stuff, those hail stones (that's probably why they're referred to as 'stones' eh?) :detective:

Dazvert zed stores
Mental note to self.. Never have a garage or this is what you can expect to happen.. You're hoarding there Daz, no wonder there's so many broken Zeds lying in ruins in fields. All the spares are in your lock-up.. :tongue_smilie:

Uh Oh...
Sorry to hear that Brillo, I'd start looking at Honda forums instead - somewhere where reliability isn't such a thorn in the member's sides. Zed ownership shouldn't be for the faint-hearted. Just because the initial purchase seems affordable, doesn't necessarily mean that the ownership experience is going to be. As many people have said before, these are premium cars and have running costs as such. I still think you'd be better off repairing your car - broken Zeds are 10 a penny. I think 1500 quid would see you back on the road with a pretty decent ownership prospect looking forward. Just depends if you can find that 1500? Sorting out the engine is a pretty big step in the right direction, for reducing future expense. Your choice bud - but looks like you're looking at it from a practical point of view and I can't fault your logic. Zed's are enthusiast's cars, not everyday cars. Plenty of cars out there that offer a better ownership prospect, but they're not going to be as exciting as a Zed - that's for sure.. Its your call. What lines were you thinking along? PS, I'll make you a good offer for your wheels if you're looking to break it.. [looks up, sees vultures circling]

Uh Oh...
Granted - but I think it would be a pretty crude engine for that amount.. and you'd have to build it yourself. Not everyone is capable of, or wants such a challenge. But I take your point. As for sourcing an engine, I'd listen to what Vodkashots was saying about Zerocooled's engine - if I were you I'd bite his arm off at 500 quid. Infact, I'd be on my way up there now, cash in hand! You can always get someone (i.e Zedworld) to fit it for you.

best thing for sharpening a kitchen knife?
Hell hath no fury... :death:

Uh Oh...
double that figure and you're getting close.. don't forget you've got to rebuild the engine too... Unless you rebuild it yourself and save a few quid?

first meal you cooked your other half
What you think it was your cleaning and ironing skills instead?

Just found a orange z
don't know the car, but its pretty unmistakable - someone will recognise it I'm sure. Looks alright, if you like that kinda thing - I've seen a lot worse
-
Uh Oh...
funnily enough.. I'd go for a rebuild - but its not the cheapest option..

You mean he didn't make you smell his 'special hanky' like some other members here then? His other favourite trick is offering you lots of alchoholic drinks - "you can't drive now, you'll have to stay over instead.." Consider yourself lucky and let that be a warning..

front mounted intercooler???
Buying a cheap intercooler is not the same as buying a cheap turbo. If a cheap turbo fails it could cause all sorts of mishchief. If an intercooler is cheaply made or defective it will affect performance by not reducing charge temp, or if failed altogether, your engine wouldn't be able to boost and would become difficult to drive. But it would not result in catastrophic engine failure. An intercooler is only a box with piping and veins - it doesn't have any moving parts, therefore I would be much more tempted to buy a cheap intercooler than other performance parts. I have heard that the quality on some of these items can be pretty poor, but - you get what you pay for. You can't have your cake and eat it. If you want to do something different with your car Lee, why not fit a FMIC inbetween your SMIC's? It would need to let some air past to get to the rad etc, but if it was long and thin, I think it would work. Don't think I've ever seen that before?? Worth a thought?

still no whoosh , need help plz guys
My BOV's are very quiet too, You can just about here them in a tunnel when being really aggressive with the throttle. Never BOVered me before :whistling: You have tried it on the move though? Never heard mine while stationary..

front mounted intercooler???
You could probably relocate them side by side in the middle using some custom pipeworks and brackets, but not sure thats what you meant. As for cutting them up and welding them together, you would have to be masochist to do that. With prices on ebay what they are I wouldn't even consider this route.. Just my opinion

I must get packed
Don't forget the sun cream!

best thing for sharpening a kitchen knife?
Razor sharp knives are a bad idea - just ask my mate '3 fingers' what the hell you cutting with it anyway? I think your steaks might be a bit overdone buddy.. Oh, and don't go overboard with a steel, you can soon take off the edge that you've put on - about 5-6 times depending how often you sharpen them.. :shuriken:

A few pics of me new Z

Tompei's Z didnt last long then
woops! wonder how that happened.. Bet someone said 'watch this' just before it happened! Don't under stand the bit about de-synchronised turbos both kicking in together.. Surely that would make them... erm... synchronised? Or have I missed something that everyone knew about? Wouldn't be the first time :whistling:
