speedo & power steering problem
Is it a JDM car? If so, has the convertor for KM to MPH started to fail? Also look for dry solder joints on the back of the speedo.

Depending on your budget why don't you look into importing one from Japan? Prices are strong at the moment, but with the way UK prices are going it wouldn't take long to break even. JM-Imports or TorqueGT would be who I would speak to.

Power zed
PowerZed is "Jimmer" on here. Highly recommended by everyone as the go to for work on a Zed.

You're in a good position then. For the lower rear quarters just get a good fabricator/welder to make then for you. The panels aren't available new, and any cuts you get from a donor are probably rubbish anyway. I've just had mine done and the fab guy just made new. I'll put pics below. For parts going forward there's UK suppliers like Luke at Zcentre, Torqen, AllCarPartsFast and similar. US you have CZP, Z1, Rock Auto, SpecialityZ, Zspec, BlasterZ. Japan has Greenline, Amayama, JPCarParts.

I just checked the MOT history. There is history of rot going up to 2016. Was this sorted? Is there documented evidence of that? Hell of a fail/advisory list you've got to contend with at the moment!

M30OSG
Welcome. Tips / advice very much depend on its current condition. The more you can tell us the better. 60k/120k cambelt service is a good place to start if it's been more than 4 years since the last. Thorough inspection inside the sills - particularly the rear. If they are showing any marking on the outside then the inside will be in bad shape. New sill panels are available. Leaky targas. If they're leaking then try and sort them as the can create a world of electrical pain. Electrics in general - connections are old and brittle. Go careful with them but check them all out. What does it run like? Smoke?

1999 Version S TT
How about everyone just steps away from the keyboard for a moment. Both of you type in a way that can provoke. Maybe you don't see it yourselves, but you do. So just leave it be. Both have different opinions. No saying who's is right or wrong.

Whilst I'm pleased that prices for the cars are strengthening, I can't help feel that the prices I'd the parts are going to go up dramatically too and we'll end up with a "Zed Tax" similar to the "Skyline Tax" .

WANTED - OEM manual shifter
Yeah. Should be relatively simply work for someone who knows what they're doing. Hardest part would be getting the Bush rebuild kits. Z1 still have them, but CZP list them as NLA.

WANTED - OEM manual shifter
That the one that included the full brace too? £200? I think I've managed to source one. Guy is waiting for his Z1 short shifter to arrive and is selling me his.

WANTED - OEM manual shifter
OEM manual shifter View Advert Long shot as they tend to only sell with full conversions but I'm after a OEM manual shifter so I can ditch my awful short shifter. Doesn't need bushings as I'll get a full rebuild kit for it. Alternatively if anyone wants to swap their OEM one for a short shifter then let me know as that'll work too. 1998 LWB NA - the purple project
I can't take the credit for the metal work. Ali at AB Autoworx has been brilliant throughout. Heaps more work for me to do when I get her back though.

1998 LWB NA - the purple project
Not the best quality pics, but look - no rust! Huge thanks to Ali for his time and effort on getting the car to this stage. Really need to get the bonnet sprayed the correct paint code soon. These pics really make it stand out. Alignment booked for Thursday. Then MOT on Friday.

91 300zx with 57,000 miles to the highest bidder
The Lateral Flow kits need a high viral load to come back positive. My daughter tested positive on one, and me and the wife were both negative. 6 hours later we all have a PCR and found out yesterday we're all positive. So that's 10 days isolation and I don't even have my car here to work on! Back on topic, that's a spanking example of a SWB. Shame it's red ?

windscreen washer jets
IIRC it's Volvo S40 washers. But my memory is a little hazy on it.

1998 LWB NA - the purple project
The bodges keep on coming. Massive wads of fibreglass and bondo used to hold a previous arch repair in place rather than repair the rusted inner arch and welding to that.
-
1998 LWB NA - the purple project
It belongs to the guy doing the work - Ali Muhammed. At last count he has 2 x Z32 and 2 x Z33

More pictures of rust and then not rust. Ali is making steady progress with the welding. Going to get both wings sprayed after this as there's a few micro blisters I've decided to get sorted now rather than wait.

Display ramps where an option I considered. Bit too big for my purposes unfortunately.

1998 LWB NA - the purple project
Update time. Both sills are done and now in primer. Drivers side was worse, and had had a very crude repair done to it in the past on the outer sill without tackling the inner sill issues. Quarters have just been started on. I'll be hopefully getting the car back in about 5 weeks. So my attention is focused on what's next on the DIY list. New centre prop bearing rcvd and will be fitted. I've got used OEM tension rods and brackets which I'm currently cleaning and painting and will be fitting Nismo bushes into. I née to drop the exhaust again and get the car as high in the air as I can safely to start cleaning the underbody and then epoxy coating it. To this end I've spent a few hours or so knocking up a set of stackable wheel cribs. They're made from C26 timber and I've made them to be stackable. ie each crib can be 2 different heights means jacking up is possible in stages to get to the full height. Stacks fully interlock with no movement.

98+ OE tire ???
That tread is very similar to Bridgestone Potenza RE040 which were on the 2000 model R34 GTRs. Edit : Bridgestone Potenza REO10 would be then I think.
