  1. Quick job this morning. OEM shifter rebuilt with OEM kit and Z1 bushings and ready for install. It's currently hammering down here so install is on hold until that stops.
  2. N addition to what's said above - JPcarparts in Japan. Allcarpartsfast in UK Z Centre in UK Rock Auto in US SpecialityZ in US There are many aftermarket options that are OEM replacements for NLA parts. Blasterzgarage in the US do a lot of the clips and seals and weather's trips. OEM running gear - lots can be refurbed (shot blasted and painted).
  3. https://www.facebook.com/10616965739/posts/10158158493115740/
  4. H3 on a JDM (Well technically H3c but you won't get them in HIDs in UK).
  5. Brave person to take that on. Looks like someone tried and failed 3 years ago.
  6. Pretty standard at the moment. All second hand cars going up in price. Had a Mate get a price from a webuyanycar equivalent. Took his car in 2 days later and they bumped his price by nearly a £1k.
  7. In the North East there's a few choices that get good recommendations (never used myself). https://www.bmodernclassics.co.uk/ http://www.derwenthaughmotors.co.uk/ http://www.rustybugworkshop.co.uk/
  8. Unfortunately not. Deadline for club stand tickets was Aug 16th. That's a hard deadline set by the organisers not by us.
  9. 4300k-5000k is the best range for hid for range vs colour. Anything 5500k or above will have some blue in it.
  10. Check radiator mounting brackets that the lower bushes haven't collapsed. Also check rad, AC rad, oil cooler etc - anything with fins - are all in one piece.
  11. https://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpartlist2.php?make=Nissan&carcode=Z32A&intake=NA&category=suspension&subcat=Bushes and Collars&sortby=&brand=NISMO This is everything Nismo do. It's basically everything except subframe bushes and steering rack bushes. They are available from a UK retailer but are more expensive (as VAT is applied to them). Importing from Japan they might get snagged by customs so be prepared to pay VAT and Customs on top of JP prices. Though I have ordered twice from Greenline and never been picked up by Customs.
  12. Stand passes should have been emailed out to folk today.
  13. Next big thing for me to do is finish off the front suspension refresh, then start cleaning off the last of the surface rust from the underside and get paint on it. Seats need to come out and pay a visit to Mondo for some love. Then later in the year off to Jimmer for some attention. I've got a heap of Z1 parts to put on these next few weeks - cowls, twin, OEM shifter, stainless fixings kit etc.
  14. LOTS more still to do. But so pleased to have a clean MOT. First time it's had one with no advisories since 2013. And precisely 365 days since I picked her up. Collecting it tomorrow, enjoying it for a few weeks or so, and then I'll start dismantling it again to move the project on.
  15. It's a sign of it failing. Or that's its full of fluff or other rubbish. Worth taking it off and giving a clean. It shouldn't be making a noticeable noise unless you have hearing like Spock.
  16. It's the fan for the AC internal temp sensor.
  17. Get the dash pods new. Used ones will have the same brittle buggered pieces yours likely have. They're £40 ish each I think. Z Centre in the UK sell them. Or the usual US retailers. Faceache groups have a few breakers on them who will have the rest of the parts you're after if no one here has.
  18. Lasts bits done. Lower rad bracket fabbed and fitted. Seam sealer and underseal applied to newly welded areas and wheel arches in general. Ready for her MOT ? Again, my thanks to Ali and AB Autoworx for his time and patience with my car. Counting down until Tuesday when I pick her up (assuming she passes the MOT this week obviously!)
  19. Boot struts View Advert I require a pair of good condition boot struts. Must be known to be holding pressure. Only so many times I can take being hit o the head by my boot lid! Advertiser Lexx Date 15/08/21 Price Category Parts - Wanted
  20. I'd walk away. If he didn't mention it to start with what else hasn't been mentioned. As I said before, I'd genuinely consider importing one from Japan.
  21. Tomorrow is the last day to secure a stand pass for this (Japfest rules not ours). A reminder that we are on the 350z-uk stand. They'll have around 80 cars, and then ours too. JAPFEST will supply the stand location in the next week or so as well as arrival info. I'll post here what they send.
  22. Has he fixed the gearbox issue?
  23. https://nissan-europe.epc-data.com/300zx/z32/2954-vg30dtt/body_front_roof_and_floor/620/62244Q/ That link should help Side retainers available in UK from https://zcentre.co.uk/product/300zx-nissan-front-bumperfascia-side-support-bracket/ As well as available from the US and Japan
