  1. Congrats on the new purchase. Pics look great in your journal. I would of replied there, but seems were unable to reply to others journal entries. The series 4 spoiler looks perfect on there, good choice and the photochopped skirts would work well I reckon.
  2. Do you mean its stalling when you come to a stop (revs drop so low at idle that it dies) ? or does it literally cut out when your driving/Accelerating ? (Is it as soon as you touch the accelerator pedal, or is it when you go over a certain rpm, 3k ?) or is it completely intermittent and it will drive fine, and then every so often just cut out/stall no matter what the revs or situation?
  3. It will all depend on the nature of the accident, cost of claim..etc Just put your details into a broker like comparethemarket.com and see what it says, only takes a few mins. At least if they are somewhat reasoable you can then shop around some of the specialists to see if it can be beaten.
  4. its a Kaminari Spoiler (Z1 sell it). The Car also has Kaminari skirts. The bomex one in the link above is quite different, a lot squarer.
  5. The wheels make or break a car when it comes to looks, and the stocks just dont to it any favours. Nothing offensive or ugly about the standard wheels, but they dont really reflect the car that they are fitted too. Too small, too plain, weak offsets. A nice set of 18" alloys transform the car.
  6. Same way = lsd. Opposite way = open But dont rely on it.
  7. All Zeds (TT and NA) have Viscous LSD's Jacking up and spinning a wheel is not a reliable test. No torque load. A Viscous LSD can act like an open diff in such a situation for example.
  8. It will be becuase of the 2618 low silicon alloy that Wiseco use for the Z32 application. All pistons wether cast or forged are primarily made from a Aluminium and Silicon Alloy. Silicon, among the strength and hardness properties it brings to aluminium also affects the amount of thermal expansion in the alloy. The stock cast pistons will have about 12-14% silicon, whereas the 2618 alloy that Wiseco use only has 0.25% So a low silicon forged piston will expand a lot more than a high silicon Cast piston. Which is why Forged engines can be noisy when cold, but once warmed up all the tolerances tighten up.
  9. Photoshopped, They are currently sitting on the floor of my spare room lol More pics in my rides I think. I probably photoshopped them too big, they are 18"
  10. Yeh, zhoodyx said he had an NA. On a long run, taking it steady. Although technically the TT is more economical at a given cruising speed than the NA, and many of us have seen 30mpg over a long steady motorway journey, its harder to achieve overall becuase anytime you accelerate and enter boost it gulps the fuel down. Plus that go pedal is far too addictive :)
  11. At a a steady pace you could do that on half a tank ! 400 miles on a full tank is still only 25mpg, and closer to 30mpg is easily achievable. A full tank aint cheap though - £90-£100 (depending on price of fuel) , 210 miles should cost you about £50 All Z's have a 72 litre tank.....not all Z's have a reliable fuel gauge though.
  12. I believe john Dixon has with his V8.
  13. Imports have a Speed chime at about 60'ish mph upwards. But the speaker is behind the Speedo clocks. Any beeping sounds coming from the passenger side will be aftermarket.
  14. If its Cat C he will know about it. All Cat C vehicles have it printed on the log book. Nothing wrong with a repaired Cat C, providing it has been properly repaired but he should mention it on the Advert. :sneaky2: Nothing unusual about the messages not showing though. Seller has to turn that option on. Most people dont I find, I never turn them on myself, and Im not a fan of when sellers put my questions on either.
  15. I got White LED (501 fitment) bulbs from Ebay, but found them to blue next to my 6k HID kit. So got some from DTA instead and much better match. Only about a fiver. Unfortunatly DTA has since shutdown so not sure what to advise really.
  16. Belongs to Shunter - Ex club Secretary. Does'nt come on here anymore. I've seen the car a few times, but not for a couple of years now.
  17. Thats a rear gearbox seal
  18. If Zedworld have diagnosed it as a problem with part fo the Tein Coilovers, then its not something they would stock. However Tein do have authorised agents in the UK that can rebuild your coilovers. Im on a really bad internet connection currently, otherwise I would have a search around, but google should be able to find an Authorised Tein repairer in the UK. Best bet would be to have Zedworld remove it and sent it off for rebuild ad see if you can get a set of 2nd hand stock shocks fitted while they are being rebuilt.
  19. Ebay - Selling of a Product type she has particular knowledge or interest in. People even make decent livings just buying poorly advertised cheap items on ebay and reselling for more, with better adverts, better auction end times...etc.
  20. So Cynical, seems genuine to me, it is from the Executive governor of the Bank of Nigeria after all. How Gullible do you think we are !? Your clearly just trying to take all the money for yourself! :tt2:
  21. Stick to a Full face Clutch kit. I have no experience with the Zedworld clutch but I believe it is for a car with the usual upgrades (Stock Turbos, 1bar boost) like yours. Good alternatives would be the RPS Sport Street clutch or one of the Southbend Clutch kits (cant remember the specific names of them). There is the RPS Sport MAX too, a great clutch which will handle evern more power, but its a bit more expensive and heavier to use.
  22. Topless turbocharged his white one about 7-8 years ago. As far as I know he still has it, but he doesn't come on this forum anymore.
  23. Good find, This is exactly what i had been planning myself. Great to see the LCD and circuitboard will fit.
