  1. Yep, pressure is equalised by the balance bar to each bank of the engine. Boost pressure, in automotive terms, refers to the intake manifold pressure above atmospheric pressure. If you wanted seperate guages for taking a measurement from each turbo, then you would actually need 3 gauges. 1 at each of the turbos that are not accurate for the actual purpose of measuring boost and would only show positive pressure and not vacumn, and a 3rd, the important one, at the Intake manifold, that shows actual boost pressure.
  2. it does'nt really matter. What matters is the Boost pressure entering the engine, which is equalised.
  3. its not actually as simple as that, there is pressure loss between the turbo, intercoolers and inlet...but for the purpose of your question, you would see 14psi
  4. The boost pressure your reading is the equalised pressure at the Engine Inlet, this is where the pressure matters. Each turbo feeds a seperate bank of the V6 seperatly, which is equalised by the Plenum balance bar. Think of it as 2x 1.5 litre 3 cylinder turbocharged engines bolted together.
  5. Do you already have replacement downpipes (turbo elbows) ? If not then this is a better buy : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-Z32-TURBO-CAT-DECAT-DOWNPIPE-EXHAUST-/230640490579?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35b33e9853
  6. Parent and Child parking --> Parking spaces that you can open the doors fully and be knowhere near another car I should prob clarifiy - I have a much younger daughter as well.....but 11yr old toddler just sounds funnier
  7. ahh...but your talking about your MPV experiences, of a particulaly rare mpv. Having owned several MPV's myself, I would say thats not MPV's in general, which happily perform as well as ordinary cars and dont suffer with any more tramlining than any other car in my experience.... ..and so dont have the excuse for what Richard has described....its the driver, not the vehicle. Middle lane hoggers piss me off to...and I make sure they know it. Fair point about the parking....although they should be using the Baby and toddler spaces....I do...with my 11yr old toddler :x:
  8. It is, and its brilliant ! Highly reccomended.
  9. lol I was a little confused as to why you were suprised your car was quicker than a diesel, now I see why. But I know what you mean - they did start complicating their naming converntion.... 318's with 2.0 engines , 323's with 2.5 litres.....
  10. RPS MAX street. Its a full face clutch rated at 579 ib/ft torque. It is heavier than stock, but very driveable Z1motorsports do a range of Flywheels, take a look. I've installed their own brand lightweight flywheel and Im very happy with it.

  13. Diesels always have way more torque than a petrol of same size. Its all low down and in a small rev range. The Bmw 3.0D is a Fantastic engine, but no ofcourse its no match for the Z on a proper thrash.
  14. nope, attached images, you must of just missed it. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1545193&postcount=29

  21. Bit of history on Zelda for those not familiar : It was owned for many years by a well known member, Sgt_C, who had all the work done you see in the original pics. It was known as Zelda. Sgt_C sold it in 2006 for about £8k to another forum member. It came back up for sale in Feb 2008 and Lee (car dealer - ex forum trader) then purchased it for about £7k , and it put it back up for sale in May 2008 with 99spec rear lights fitted. It sold in July 2008 for an unknown amount. Then Lee then had it back up for sale in summer 2009 , for £11k, having purchased it back of the buyer. Its been listed for sale on and off ever since by Lee. He has had it resprayed and changed the Wheels and some other minor changes and its now at £15k
