  1. Link to Jay's is just going to confuse people, thinking that its Zelda
  2. Bumper and skirts have not changed on Zelda. Your looking at Jay's Z instead
  3. I had a trimmer do it with the rest of my interior. Only the red version is available normally from stores.
  4. I opted for standard, retrimmed in black leather with blue stitching. You can buy the 99spec/Nismo knobs from most Specialists which are black with red stitching. I've personally never felt one that feels as good as a new stock knob. They are heavily weighted, which gives it the perfect feel imo
  5. yeh, essentially Safety boost is Normal boost. (wastegate setting). The solenoids essentially raise boost (like a boost controller - by hiding the atual boost seen by the wastegate) when no issues are detected by ECU.
  6. Hollowpoint is correct , for work I used to have to drive a fair amount of mot failure cars to and from mot stations and garages, all legally. And its all on the Back of the mot failure sheet ! The distance of where you can take it to the mot or garage is a bit of grey area though. There are no detailed rules.
  7. They are the same ones (Kuruma) I linked cheaper from Z1, and I believe MJP also supplies them
  8. £3k :o ok, clearly they did not want the job and were giving you a rediculous price. Professional complete retrims seem to typically come in at about £1.5k - thats seats and all the panels. The Seat kits you can buy tend to be pretty good. Its a fair amount of work to fit, an entire weekend fighting with metal rings and springs but it is reasonably straight forward for a novice to get a quality fit from them. The Panels are harder to get a decent job done. You basically remove the old material and use it as a template for your new material - then lots of glueing, stretching and swearing. Unfortunatly without a professional trimmer sewing the pieces for proper fitment around contours you cant expect a perfect finish. I've fitted a complete Seat kit (Imported from the U.S) and was very happy with the job. I've also retrimmed the panels of three different Z's, and was never 100% happy with any of them - But they did look a lot better than the original tweed ofcourse. I've yet to see a perfect non-stitched DIY panel retrim yet. For My slicktop I opted to have the panels profesionally done - Black leather with blue stitching, and it really is worth having a professional work his magic on them imo. Unfortuantly I no longer have the trimmers contact details, but many others have used trimmers and my be able to provide contact details.
  9. As standard they are not available seperate, they are part of the quater window.....and subsequently are extremely expensive for the complete unit. However, there are aftermarket replica options, although still somewhat expensive : http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=4_33_64&products_id=927 I believe MJP, our OEM Parts supplier can source them as well if you prefer to buy from a UK supplier. Alternatively, Im sure there are plenty out there on breakers that could be had very cheaply.

  11. no the foglight height adjuster is on the face of the foglight/sidelight unit ;)
  12. Thats the height adjuster You need to remove the indicator units (2 screws) then with them removed you can access the 3x 10mm nuts with a spanner holding the Sidelight/foglight unit to the car.
  13. You can have free custom ring tones as standard without Jailbreaking, you can convert any of your music tracks to ringtones using iTunes - its not as straightforward as I'd like, but there are even Standard Apps from the Appstore for converting your music to ringtones.
  14. No, pretty much everything Vodka said is available without Jailbreaking. Perhaps with the exception of Flash...thats a popular issue for iphone haters to bring up but in fact I have never had an issue with no flash when visting any website on the iPhone, and I use it a LOT for browsing. oh, and Jailbreaking (rooting) is also very popular with Android users As for copying......The galaxy S is clearly a cheap plastic immatation of the iphone 3gs, while the S2 is a larger cheaper plastic version of the iPhone 4. I have absolutely nothing against the Android OS, I'd happily have a iPhone 4 with Android OS (hmmm....theres an idea) or the Apple iOS I dont mind either way, the biggest differnece for me is the Phone hardware themselves (Im referring to design/materials/build....not spec). Im fussy about quality and others just dont have what it takes for me.
  15. Its very clear your issue's are with the Company, rather than the iPhone itself. I could not care less who makes the iPhone and who does'nt. I have no interested in Apple, outside of the iPhone itself. It also makes no difference if the company manufactures in house or outsources, its the design and engineering that is done by Apple - the important stuff. and Yes, I have friends with the HTC desire, Galaxy S2, LG 2x optimus ...etc and I could not be happier with my choice.
  16. lol here come the iPhone Haters. I think you'll find that Samsung just produce some of the components, as do a lot of mainstream electronic manufactures but who owns the factory that actually produces them is hardly relevant, and Its not about fashion, its about quality. Im glad your happy with your Galaxy thing though.
  17. lol, I can get more pics....creating a dynamic model of its suspension system and its having a rear diffuser setup developed for it currently. we have 2 Formula Ford race cars, Yamaha R6 and Triumph Daytona to play with too, and were designing and building from scratch a single seater Race car for Competition next summer atm.
  18. Its a remarkably simple design really, Basically a road legal race car. Blisteringly quick - 550hp and 950kg helps !
  19. Can I make it up to you with some piccies.....
  20. I play with one of these on a regular basis :D
  21. My iphone is due for renewal in November, so yeh Im hoping to upgrade to the iPhone 5. The new spec (rumours) sound good to me, and if its anything like the iphone 4, which is so beautifully made compared to the cheap grey and black plastic of other smartphones , then im definatly getting one.
  22. For the Track, yeh I could live with that :D
  23. Welcome back Dave :D
  24. There are a couple of metal spring clips holding it on and that black tar stuff - need to heat them up. I've done a few sets, but I did manage to crack one in half  ...and my hands in the process. Cleaning the inside of the headlights makes a really big different to the output, they are much dirtier than you think.
