  1. My Sister had one for a couple of years, never had any trouble with it. Felt like a solid well built car, fun to drive and fantastic interior (imo). Ride is on the firm side. She only sold it as could not get double pushchair and car seats in it (she had twins). and gsfcarparts.com too (them and ECP are the largest independent parts suppliers in the UK). :thumbup1:
  2. Convert either one of your rear lights or reverse lights to be dual purpose fog, rather than having to bolt on an unsightly aftermarket item that you hideaway.
  3. Just noticed your thread about the diff. Do you mean Rear Diff oil ? if so then GL-5 80w-90 Gear oil.
  4. Gearbox = Transmission. There are no other oils or fluids in the gearbox.
  5. Dexron ATF Fluid Jap - 7.7 litres UK - 8.7 litres
  6. It will change with oil Temperature and rpm. The Senders reads pressure through a small venturi which gets blocked over time....but also the stock gauge is very innaccurate/unreliable.
  7. Congrats Andy. Who's the company then? Sounds like it may be IBM ? I was a Internet Project Manager for IBM and are/were referred to as the 'world largest IT research organization'.
  8. No, you just missed my point. if they are on the internet, and active on other sites and social networks.......then they know about this site. If they are not here, then its for their own reason (They dont like car forums/They dont like this car forum) , not because they do not know it exists.
  9. You can remove the two big hoses (that go from rad to engine), and stick a hose in the top one on a low flow. It will flush through the engine and exit out the bottom pipe. When refilling its best to raise the front end a little to help with bleeding out the air.
  10. Looking forward to the Pics :)
  11.
  12. Reading it all back....I think this topic may have been blown out of proportion by all of us. :x:
  13. Not sure what your searching on but Its all over the top of the search results if I type "300zx", 1st in the list on google If this wasn't such an established, easy to find and well known site within the z community.....and it wasn't an active Forum, then absolutely - Social networking sites have their place for advertising and providing Information to users about whats going on.....but that's not really the case here. The FB, Twitter...etc 300zx Pages already exist, If somebody wants to make time to update these sites, then fine but I just feel that really we don't need lots of updates about this site on other sites. If I want to know whats new...I hit the new posts button. (about 40 million times a day:blush:) :p No harm in using the FB and Twitter feeds for things like Upcoming Regional Events Notifications (Jae..etc) , but anyone that's a member of the 300zx pages on those social sites....is already a regular member here anyway. Sorry it came across so negative, its good that your pro-active towards the club, and no harm in using these other social network sites, I just dont believe they provide the same benefits to an Active forum that they do to other companies and groups that use them for this purpose. :p :D If somebody wants to make time to manage these sites, or if you would like to Volunteer yourself and the Comittee are ok with that, then cool....I just personally dont believe they are of much benefit to the Club to warrant extra work. If there are Active Internet users who own a 300zx in the UK, and they are not on this site.....its not because they are not aware of it. Things like the Club window flyers and adverts in jap car magazines is a great way to attact 300zx owners who are not regular Internet users though, and would not normally be on Forums and Social network sites.
  14. if they are active Internet users in UK, and they are not on this forum....its not because they've not discovered it.
  15. Exactly. Not sure how "official" any of them are anyway. There are a zillion 300zx pages on FB as it is anyway, and Twitter is just pointless.
  16. whats wrong with just using this forum. We dont need all that other rubbish.
  17. If its fibreglass then It will be a Car.Mad creation. Drop him a PM. Parcel2go and similar companies do it for a set price of about £10 for anything less than 1.25m and under 35kg - you just need to know its less than the weight and size limits, rather than the exact measurements. Its definatly in the weight limits...but prob about 1.5m long, but if u put 1.5m then you just pay a surcharge on the size.
  18. 4600k - 6000k Most go for 6000k. Any higher and you get more blue and less visible light output.
  19. Looks like a good example. I dont believe the mk3 will ever be worth as much as the Mk1/Mk2's though. I owned one when I was 17 (in 97/98), and paid £500 for it :x:
  20. I believe JoelZX is talking about having ancillary belt(s) replaced with waterpump, not the cambelt.
  21. Fair play. If Jeff has experience of them being ok then all is good. However the correct plugs (PFR6B-11) are quite a bit cheaper!
  22. No, you want NGK PFR6B-11 , gapped to 0.044" (1.1mm) The "C" on the end of the plugs in the ebay listing denote that the plug is of a Special design made specifically for the 300zx TT only, and uses a longer projected and shrouded Tip.
  23. Based on a 8" wheel with a 35offset then either 20 or 25mm will be fine for the front. There is a chance you could be at risk of a little rubbing with the 25mm spacer if car is lowered (depending on tyre brand, camber, ride height), its about as flush as you can get with stock arches. But if that concerns you then play it safe with the 20mm.
  24. ......you missed a zero of the end of those numbers
  25. Yeh, all sounds about right. Part prices are ok (make sure its a Nissan OEM pump though...they are about £70). Its about 2-3hrs labour for a garage.
