  1.. ....wait...only Northern women have boobs or only have bouncy ones ? so confused
  2. and some people are into stamp collecting p.s I have the same snap-on trolley tool box as that :)
  3. ok, in that case you presumably have the NA rear diff?, If so then you just need a NA Single Piece prop from Jeff. Here is a pic, courtesy of Slick Pete of the what needs to be ground away a little within the NA bellhousing. it doesn't require much, I didn't take any measurements when i did mine just ground it down a little and have had no clearance issues. The TT flywheel has a 4mm larger diameter (2mm radius), which you'll need to shim the starter out too with a 2mm washer on each stud.
  4. ok, the NA bellhousing is thicker than the TT bellhousing. Bascially Nissan altered the bellhousing for the TT to accommodate the TT Flywheel & clutch, and this is something you would have to do if you wanted to fit a NA box and use TT clutch and flywheel. You only need to grind out a few mm from around the inside, mostly around the starter motor opening to prevent the larger TT flywheel from fouling. You will then need to shim out the starter motor by a few mm , and use the Front half of an NA manual propshaft, which can be mated up to your existing rear prop half. You would also require a TT Speedsensor geared cog for the speedo to read correctly (if you have TT rear diff still) Ultimately its extra work and hassle, so it all depends on how cheap you can get a NA box compared to a TT box.
  5. Dan, I've ordered from http://www.biggred.co.uk/ , not checked if they do the rebuild kit for your brembo's but I expect so.
  6. Internally, no. Fitment, yes. In regards to the Bellhousing and Prop splines. Its not difficult to retrofit though. Which are you looking at doing ...fitting NA box to a TT or TT box to an NA ?
  7. Welcome
  8. Price is about right. Most specialists charge more and Some Nissan dealerships are around the 1k mark. You need to check whats being done though. Personally I would have the following done : Timing Belt 2x Replacement rubber water inlet/outlet pipe hoses Water pump Thermostat Ancillary belts The pump is optional but the labour isn't really any extra to have them replaced, but part prices are about £70 for the pump* and £10-£20 for thermostat. They are best changed at the same time as cheaper than having to strip it all back down to replace if it at a later date. *Stick to Nissan oem for the pump.
  9. They both look great. Good job on the Bumper. Who made the exhaust?
  10. the profile differnce is due to the width difference - to keep same rolling diameter, rather than engine location. I believe Stock MR2 tyre sizes are : 195/55/15 front 225/50/15 rear Staggered just like the Z (wider rear with lower profile) based on those sizes, the stock Z sizes would be a near perfect match for standard rolling diameter.
  11. Standard UK rears are 16" Diameter 8.5" Wide - 245/45/16 Fronts and jap rears are 16" Diameter 7.5" Wide - 225/50/16
  12. It braces the tension arms mounts, does'nt go anywhere near the struts. Its usually called a Front Lower arm brace or Front tension rod brace.
  13. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=114239 Some info there. But Im sure hellraiser or Pete had put up detailed pictures in another thread, but I cant find it now. They relocated the o2 sensor hole.

  15. Yep, that sounds right. 7200rpm would be 99mph with the NA rear end.
  16. 2nd gear - 7200rpm in a Manual TT = 75mph
  17. 3rd gear, 7200rpm, TT rear drive , Manual = 109 mph 7500 is a fairly typical rpm limit on remapped ECU's and you dont really want to push more than this with stock valve-train and fueling, which would give you about 115mph. Power starts falling off before 7k with stock Turbos. This is taking into account stock tyre sizes.
  18. There are lots of Track day organising companies that hold regular open track days around UK tracks. for example - http://www.trackdays.co.uk/
  19. Unfortunately according to the other JAE thread only those with full weekend passes can get their cars on the Stand and those with day passes are not allowed by JAE. :( You should consider staying the night though....the best part of JAE is during the dark hours.
  20. Most likely the engine bay fuel lines. Follow them from the filter to the fuel rail, checking for cracks and tightening each of the clamps. There is a another one hidden under the throttle linkage at the front of the plenum (in the centre) with 2 more clamps on.
  21. Yep, UK cars are limited to 155 mph. Although it tends not to be that accurate, many will reach up to 165mph before it kicks in.
  22. Im sure we have dozens of IT staff and enthusiasts on here, should just post your problem in the thread.
  23. Centre is fine. Must be fitted to centre or offside (Drivers) side
