1. Im unsure atm wether I can go, but I hope the poor numbers of pre-purchase tickets is not the indication of a poor turnout that it seems to be. It would be great to see JAE achieve the sort of attendance it used to get from Z owners 5+ years ago.
2. Most seemt to avergage anything from 18-23 is about normal avg for a TT. 20-25 for the NA. Both will do 30+ on a long motorway run. The TT is a better cruiser with its Longer gearing, and you tend to be off-boost at a constant motorway cruising speed. Both will do single figures if your having too much fun.
3. Welcome to the Club
4. Its possible you could have the leader 4.1 gears in TT Housing. But have you checked speed with GPS. The Stock Speedo is far from reliable, and most cars are often anything up to 10% (or more) inaccurate anyway
5. ah, I zeee :blushing: :thumbup1:
6. erm..ofcourse........re-read his post....he said he wants an auto becuase it has cruise with buttons on wheel......I was telling him that Manuals have the same ;)
7. Welcome to the club. I prefer a manual to drive in all situations, but try both and decide after. Manuals have cruise control (with the buttons on steering wheel) too.
8. You have too small external diameter boost jets, they should be a fairly tight fit. Find some larger Mig welding tips. If they are loose you will just have air escaping past them and you'll get inconsistent boost pressures that wont be as high as you want.
9. Top. Looks better and less flow restrictive. win win.
10. Happy Birthday ian :happybday:
11. NA and TT differ due to the Vacuum assistance servo. The Rod and connection differ. The NA version connects straight to Brake pedal box. The TT version connects to Servo.
12. no, those Pete posted are with Basic mods and Boost increase.
13. Oxidisation corrosion of the metal. Its very common and should be cleaned from all connectors with electrial cleaner. If the corrosion is heavy you may need to use a file to get back to clean metal. Common cause of many running problems within the z engine bay.
14. Dynarod orange ? :D
15. 2 oranges that cross my mind is the Lambo orange and the RS focus orange
16. Very easy, all done online via their online shopping site. It will give you all the shipping prices. Delivery is usually 3-4 days. You will be subject to Import duty and VAT once it arrives in the UK (about 25% of total cost), unless you get lucky.
17. Fastest stock I've seen recorded is 13.8 , but usually around low to mid 14's Low to mid 13's are capable on Stock turbos with the usual Mods and boost increase......depending on driver and his experience at the Pod.
18. Bayside blue is TV2 Should be able to find the others via google
19. Last ever U.S Spec 300zx in 1996
20. All 300zx's, no matter which market they were intended for, were built in the Nissan Shatai plant in Japan
21. 32 - 34 Front 34 - 36 Rear Suitable pressure range will be about the above, and the exact pressure will be more down to several variances (tyre make, type of driving and your own preference)
22. Prop vibration you tend to feel through the centre of the car, through the seat and floor. Rather than from one side of the car. Have your wheels balanced and checked for play in the arms first. Depending on wether the car has the heatshield in place the propshaft bearing can be visually checked - but may need exhaust dropping if heatshield is still in place. MJP (in traders section) for all OEM parts.
23. Just bear in mind that in the event of loss or damage in transit the Courier Insurance payout will depend on the declared value of the goods.
24. Budget for 25% (Import duty, VAT and Admin fee's) on top of total price inc shipping cost.
25. Andy, dont forget to state your offsets, info is meaningless without it. I'd guess 35 all round before the spacers ? .....giving you 35 rear, 15 front with the spacers
