You could pay for the model report to be done yourself. Trouble is the cost is around £3-£4k , and if it fails on anything (which it probably will on emissions and other minor points), you dont get your money back, and it will cost you that again for the retest. If a Successfull model report is produced you do have the benefit of being to rent it out to others when they wish to import a 97 onwards Z32.

Nissan have made a range of fantastic sports cars over the years - 240z, 260z, 280z, Z32, Skyline GTR's, 200sx's , R390 ...etc Few brands could say the same ! ...but Nissan just is'nt recognised in the UK as a sports marque becuase we got the Humdrum regular Nissan cars and most the exoctic sports were kept for the home market and were never marketed in the same fashion as the regular stuff. Not thats there is much wrong with Nissans "regular" cars...some of the most reliable cars in the world.....but they are dull. I just say "300zx", that tends to satisfy them

The iron calipers (93 onwards I think) had same colour lettering as the caliper. The earlier calipers (most popular) were dark grey and the lettering was lighter, although Im unsure if the lettering is white/silver or just bare metal.

Bump - Just a few days now till the show

10-15hp increase apparantly, although the biggest difference noticed is the ability for the engine to rev quicker, making it more responsive.

If the car senses detonation it will put the car into safety boost, expecially if not using high octane fuel (optimax98/tesco99), and the weather is very hot. But if the car is running right, on High octane fuel, on stock boost in our climate it should'nt happen even with 30+ centigrade heat...if it is then you could be running lean or the ECU is going into safety mode for another reason.

Yep, I've had 4 wheels with tyres in the zed and front seats available still.

This is what I had before the zed. Had her for about 4 years and did 50k in it. Solid, reliable, quick handled well for its size and turned heads in black. However I get better fuel economy from the zed !
