  1. It should have "stiff spots", its where the compression builds up as the pisons reach TDC. If you are worried about compression problems then best to do a quick compression test with a pressure gauge.
  2. may be able to get to the front parking aid aerial if you remove the bumper indicators
  3. Those that remove it , do so for weight and becuase it blocks the rad, so better cooling without it. Aircon would use more power to operate than it would probably benefit for cooling the engine bay.
  4. some of you are mixing up KG's and Ibs !! Still a big weight difference though. Stock is 13 Ibs , Unothordox is 2 Ibs
  5. Sorry to hear about the zed. A mistake by DVLA I guess. I remember Jeff from zedworld mentioning a 52 new plate 300zx turning up at his workshop a few months back !
  6. wow, Thats quick!, must be a big single turbo conversion

    Any error codes ?
  8. Dont worry, not aimed at you (dont know you or your car), just making a general point.
  9. They probably did'nt buy a cheap, rough, abused 15yr+ old example, then they probably maintained and serviced it and replaced worn parts that were now past there natural servicable lifetime.......but thats just a guess ;)
  10. Starts of with Zed TV advert Then shows ISMA Zed racing cars Then the Nissan 300zx Manufacturing Plant with them being made Not to sure about the music choice though http://www.windingroad.com/multimedia/issue-11/nissan-video/
  11. as there are 2 banners.....would I also be able to get the other one - Ross-on-Wye meet on 13th August (our SW biggest yearly meet) not sure who has it now after JAE? (thread posted in the Event organisers private forum too)
  12. but slower to 60 LOL..this could go on all night
  13. Definatly not. Thats the Z31
  14. although Nissan states the Auto as being 268bhp (smaller tubs and differed cams to make up for responsiveness with autobox)
  15. Stock power is 280-300 at the fly, and 230-250 at wheels. Years and mileage will have taking its a toll a little though. I think stock clutch starts to struggle at around 350 ib/ft, depending on condition. on the TT bhp normally equals about the same torque. so RPS Sport is around 450ib/ft Costs would be around £150-£200 labour, and worth getting the rear main seal (£10) done at same time. Could also consider lightweight flywheel at same time too.
  16. ECU test : http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html
  17. WTF! Just seen this......greg :( Catch me on MSN bud ! See you soon !
  18. Yep, try what diddy P did first and discretely wipe them when he not looking. Unfortunatly its quite a big job to do, the whole rear subframe has to be removed so you can get the old bushes out and the new ones pressed in.
  19. Where is that TT Convertable widearch Strosek now !? ...and that 600hp White 2+2 ? ...and WTF - "dream of skylines"....no thanks
  20. Any more pics of this one Leigh ?
  21. :( Hope to see you behind a zed wheel again soon Mike
