  1. Not quite...a TT is actually more economical on the motorway than a NA. But around town yes, TT does drink more.
  2. Its a popular option to bypass the det sensor, to save on the 10+ hours labour (+£150 parts) involved in replacing it. Quite a common failure, and since the det sensor only works below 3k rpm (and det is more likely to occur at higher revs) its use is limited anyway.
  3. SWZ Performance - Apexi Power intake induction Kit - £75
  4. SWZ performance - Det sensor is £120 and the harness is £22
  5. Thousand(s) Mailbox holds 500, and gets cleared and full every few months
  6. Happy Birthday Matey :duffer:
  7. Hi Mate, just realised that was you at SWZ earlier (I was the one that came in the silver Zed) That would be Karl's (Karl300zx) car....Si's is one of the SWZ mechanics. Should be tearing up the road this afternoon

Matching up paint using just a paint code on a 15yr old car is not going to work. The colour will not match. Take in you fuel filler cap to get it matched properly. oh...and avoid halfords for paint !! ..... use a proper auto paint supplier...most towns/cities have them.
  9. Alan...... "ZEDLESS" ????
  10. UK - 7.5" front , 8.5" rear Jap - 7.5" front, 7.5" rear
  11. watch the odometer when on motorway, between the 1mile junction signs
  12. what other sites do you visit ?
  13. The venoms dont look right on a standard kitted car IMO , but from the angle you selected and becuase silver & black go well together they look ok in that picture.
  14. Its the electrics (not the leather) that make them heavy. not 100kg though....Standard electric Drivers seat is about 25kg, non-electric Passenger is about 15kg.

Any wheel size. Wheel size has no affect as larger wheels mean lower profile, keeping the same rolling radius.

    Manual gearbox. TT Ratios 5th 186mph 7200rpm
  17. more front end grip....so less understeer. Can enter corners quicker without it trying to push out wide, and with the wider rears you can exit quicker too :)
  18. not at moment he cant...but soon hopefully :D
  19. in your rides section bud
  20. any more pics of the blue one ?
  21. Yes. I have 19" , 8.5" fronts with 245 tyres - no tramlining. Tramlining is often blamed on wheel/tyre width, when more than often its becuase of worn front suspension components. However I do get some very occasional rubbing, but then the car is lowered 40-50mm as well.
  22. Suspension first !.....RLTC is great, but it can only ensure you have the grip that your tyre and suspension setup allows. The autobox is the Zed's achilles heal, whereas the Manual box is one of the strongest out there.
  23. Nicely done, you beat me to it LOL I've been working on a similar setup for mine, combined with a H.U.D setup. p.s What are you using for a Fuel in tank reading ?
