  1. **** **** (Thats same as Si's post, but without comments/fullstop)
  2. Any of you guys know the weight of your aftermarket seats ?
  3. Chrome headlight inserts are more about how they look rather than improving lighting....in fact if anything they reflect more light straight up into the sky than straight ahead. It is however worth dissasembling the headlights and cleaning the insides.
  4. It sits higher up than the exhausts, and takes up same amount of space as the original hicas rack.
  5. If you remove shocks/springs car will still be movable and wont actually sit on floor. For extra ground clearance you can put blocks of wood between the upper suspension arms and the inner wing. Wheels ideally left on till the end, any old scrap wheels that can me made to fit will work. You can make arrangements for scrap collectors to collect with a hiab.
  6. Cheapy ebay specials. I would'nt want to be the 1st to try them. I ts annoying when sellers advertise Springs with adjustable collars as Coilovers. Find out the front and rear spring rates first.
  7. why not just replace the pod/switch thats broken, they are readily and cheaply available
  8. We know what you've been doing !! ;) Congrats to you both Steve
  9. Nissan filter - £5 No reason to use any other.
  10. Yep, the only Uk model avaibale is the LWB TT. I dont mind preludes myself...but 2.2 4-pot FWD vs 3.0 V6 RWD, you cant really compare them even if performance is similar.
  11. Import H3c Dipped beam H1 Main beam UK H3 Dipped beam H1 Main beam
  12. green one would be ok if it was'nt for the front bumper, nose panel, headlight covers, lambo doors, tailgate tub or the hideous colour LOL
  13. They are not unreliable, and they do not cost a fortune to own. They will cost more than your average car, its still a £35k Sports car no matter what price they can be picked up for now. Both my TT and NA have cost barely anything in Maintenance or repair over the past 2 years, both daily drivers. (except for the TT's head gasket failure, due to a unnoticed leaking water pipe and innaccurate temp gauge). The cars themselves are well built, reliable...and japanese. Neglect maintenance on a 300bhp 15yr old car and it will bite back though! Its worth noting that there a LOT of neglected rough examples out there !
  14. Definatly not then
  15. Silver one towing a trailer......ChrisC ?
  16. Any garage will be able to change prop bearing. Expect to pay 1-2 hours labour.
  17. Congratulations !! :duffer:
  18. Mike, if you dont mind me asking....how/where do you find these zed's at auction in japan......I have a particular spec/requirement Im after and would love to be able to hunt it down myself in Japan
  19. You may find that somebody has bypassed the fuel ECU controller (becuase its failed), which will cause the pump to run at full speed permantly, hence the noise. Remove the Rear seat, and the rear trim on passenger side and you should see a couple of electronic boxes. If you see any extra wiring that looks non standard then thats whats happened. If it does turn out to just be the pump on its way out then I have a couple spare. £50 each.
  20. Filter sits in front of the battery. Round silver about half size of a Coke can.
  21. Interesting...(so far) Manual 86 Auto 53 LWB 116 SWB 12 Slicktop 7 Convertable 4 UK 35 Import 104
