  1. Welcome Gandalf...any pics of the zed ??
  2. Thats an absolute bargain. Replace that front bumper (IMO) and that would be a very nice looking zed. Its got Tein coilovers too.
  3. Supercharger would be of a Centrifugal type and replace the standard Aircon pump (sacrificing aircon), taking direct drive from the stock auxillery belt setup. Pipework would be relatvely simple, no internal modifications needed, designed to run with stock compression at 6-8 psi. The alternative would be a Twin-screw Supercharger Setup, but for that setup your talkng complete Upper (and probably Lower) intake/plenum replacement and Bonnet clearance issues. Its in the later stages of Planning / Early development stage. No Power or Cost estimates at this time.
  4. Sorry sold, although SWZ Performance are to be the sole Uk supplier for the 99spec spoilers in Fibreglass and Carbon Fibre.
  5. You need perspex strip as extra.
  6. I believe Zcentre are closed till 8th Jan. He does'nt have his own Workshop, but I believe he can reccomend and arrange installation.
  7. Yes, some Import zeds will have had the mileage altered (and some UK zeds too), but it is fact that cars in japan do cover a less mileage that us in Europe. Roads are busier, cities are closer..etc.
  8. 10mm (I think) Spanner. Two at top, on the left and right hand side and one on the bottom center.
  9. It only looks like a bit of light cosmetic in the pics. Gutted for you. Depending on what the insurance company offer you, you may find it more worthwhile to break and sell the parts your self.
  10. Writing an article about the Impreza should deserve you a ban !! Just kidding, got a copy here...Nicely written...congrats. (p.s My work has been in the same Magazine too for the past few months)
  11. Nissan Uk dealer Service history - Thats a scary thought !! Another plus for imports ;)
  12. Sh*t , THe red one or the silver one ? Really sorry to hear, glad your not hurt.
  13. 9.29 posts per day
  14. Yep, will have negative affect on engine cooling...... and makes working in the engine bay a little dangerous. There are Replacment fibreglass versions that can be colour coded and Carbon fibre fan covers available
  15. Yep exactly, there are no differences in BHP.....IMO for US/Euro/UK/Jap...wether they are really 300 or 280. There are differences in Auto vs Manual performance. UK has better Oil cooling for engine/Gearbox/Diff...and is a wise upgrade for Jspec owners.
  16. .......There are'nt actually that many UK zed owners left to argue there side
  17. Nope....... UK published by Nissan as 276 for Manual.....and 268 for the Auto.
  18. I've definatly seen quite a few SWB's with Front washer bottles (In fact dont recall seeing one without)....never paid to much attention before but will check out the twin motors
  19. Yes. there is a Fibreglass Tailgate available in the states, but I am hoping to have one prepared in the UK in the near future, together with lexan glass.
  20. Black & Cream Leather seats (http://www.nipponauto.co.uk) with Black door and dash panels.
  21. NGK plugs specifically made for the 300zx.... other makes dont have correct fitment, with the tip either protruding too much or not enough into the heads for what nissan designed. Will affect how the spark detonates with the fuel mixture
  22. Duplicate post, damn Internet connection
  23. Unless it had been fully restored or garaged all its life and never taken out in bad weather then Im sorry to say that I would'nt touch a UK 300zx. Even those with no signs of Rust on the outer shell, as soon as you get them up on a Ramp you find most of the underside entirely covered in rust.......in comparison to the underside an Import which appears as if its only just driven out of the showroom. ...plus Folding mirrors are
  24. Good crash Thats because there is no chassis and the engine is designed to come away from the body to leave the cabin complete.
