original vs 99 spec front bumper
IMO the standard bumper dates the zed really badly. 99spec is a much nicer design, sleeker, prettier and makes car look much newer. 99spec only available as high quality polyeurothene, and not cheap fibreglass like more aftermarket bumpers.

Wheels
PCD - 114.3x5 Offset...depends on style of wheel and width, but anything from 25-35 should be fine

Tyre pressure sticker?
Tyre size (width or profile) does not have a significant affect on pressures. Pressure is determined by vehicle weight over each axle and the type of enviroment it is used in (temperature and speeds). I would run an Import on the recomended Uk/Euro tyre pressures. IMO +/- 1-2 psi within recomended pressures depending on your own preference/driving style

What exhaust?
I would speak to Alunox Karl, very highly respected and experience with the zed. Go for a X-pipe setup for best power.

None Abs????
ABS was optional on the NA in the early years. Standard on TT

just some questions...nothing vicious!
They dont rust any more than any other car...its just the age. In japan they dont use salts on icey roads, so they have no rust corrosion when they land on our shores. In fact the underenath of most Imports look almost new. Insurance differences depend on the company...some charge a hefty premium, others very little. The reason for it stems back 10 years ago when imports gained popularity. Dealers would refuse to supply parts for Imported vehicles, or would insist on having to get the parts from japan (even when they stocked the same part for a UK equivelent). Insurers continue to overcharge despite Parts for imports being no different to the Uk models and readily available. The UK models were only available as 2+2 T-bar Twin turbo, and at least 95% of Z32's are T-bar. The non T-bar, referred to as 'slicktop' is very rare and only available as a SWB.

All time low price of Z's
Not likely to be getting Z32's coming over from Japan now, except for the late model/highly modified versions. A lot of the Rough examples are dissapearing.....standards are rising.

Rattling From Engine
Diagnosing noises is very tricky over a forum. It all depends on what sort of rattling you can hear....it could be pinking/detonation.....big end bearings.....cam rattle.....or just a loose heatshield.... Get the car to a good garage asap.....preferably have somebody come examine the car without you having to drive it.

What a Lump...
The stock plenum is restrictive and does'nt lend itself well to high boost applications. Its fine for stock and mild power, is asthetically pleasing and fits under the bonnet, but it is the bottleneck of the system. A single intake would also be lighter and help with maintenance (much more room under bonnet).......also has the added benefit of making it simpler for Single turbo and Single supercharger setups.

Advice with first few mods
You got yourself a very good deal. Thats a rare slicktop model. Not 100% sure its original colour. Looks darker than the Standard red, but not as dark as the burgandy. Could just be the pics....but its a very nice colour anyway. If I had spotted that I would of snapped that up myself.

Advice with first few mods
Hi, Congrats on the new purchase....any pics ? 99spec Bumper is about £300 from Nissan dealer, plus £50'ish for the lights. You wont really get it any cheaper than the dealer. I highly recomend Mr Dixon for the ECU remap.

Engine weight, V6 vs V8
with the Tubs and manifolds on its about 270kg (excluding ancilliaries, intercoolers, pipework..etc). I will be loosing 100kg from the engine bay alone with my new engine :) ....then got to balance out the weight loss at the centre (LW seats) and rear (FG tailgate/Perspex glass)

I wish I had never started
She's a cracking example mate. Dont forget thats just a "get it running" map she has in there, the Twin MAF setup you have is a nightmare to map for without a rolling road.....once setup on the dyno you'll have one of the (if not THE) best NA in the country...especially with the Switchable Dual ECU Map setup for the 150 shot of Nos.
