  1. I wonder what on earth led him to believe that spitting water out of the exhaust is a sign of a good engine

Each region has regular monthly meets all year round, plus there are the big National events too. See the wales events section for any planned local events in your region....although the Wales section is one of the quietest
  3. Yep, as above..will stick with a stock TT at low speeds, but no chance as speed rises they have very short legs. All depends on version though, there are a 367billion different types with various states of standard tune
  4. Headgasket went (Viscous fan failed), so I started my planned V8 project....removed engine, interior, suspension....in prep for new parts... Then it got to the point where I had so many people asking for parts, offering good money that I broke entire car for close to £5k, and project will be started on another zed now. That pic was taken of bare shell when it was being loaded onto scrap lorry
  5. That really is the truth (except it was fuel pump I wanted) ! LOL I could'nt get the tailgate open, so we flipped it over so I could unbolt the tank
  6. Nice conversion.....although Im still a fan of the Vg over the RB......yes the RB is easier/cheaper to tune but the VG is still a more advanced engine with more potential Why would you want to ruin the 300zx. RWD 300 is best car ever ! ;) actually.....Lighweight Revvy Nissan 4.5 Aluminium V8 would be best 300 ever......
  7. Ignore them, yes you are old !
  8. Yep, definatly the Apexi induction kit....then ECU, decat, headers, Lightweight Pulleys & Flywheel, Headwork, cams, Overbore pistons, TT injectors....... SWZ are investigating a Supercharge kit and single turbo conversion for the NA too
  9. Smooth or 99spec spoiler

  12. What was just as interesting was that although the FMIC they fitted in the tests dropped intake temps from a whopping 60 degrees to just 16 degrees at 1.35bar boost....it only offered up an extra 15hp, depsite the huge boost levels....barely noticable.....yet what they did notice notice was the increased lag.
  13. Caption Competition ? (Its my Black TT, and Greg)
  14. Yeh, stop it Paul !!.....
  15. Its from the cat back that is different
  16. Nope fine here, been using on and off all evening
  17. I got the smallest size they did.......then after she said "yes" we went to get it resized even smaller LOL
  18. Typically, you can run around 12psi on the stock ECU and high octane fuel without any issues. To go any higher (14-15psi max on stock injectors) and to get the best out of the car then its well worth getting an Uprated ECU.....not to mention a Chipped ECU on an exchange basis is only around £100
  19. 1. Gruntpa64 2. Anna 3. Southwestmech 4. Na_Kins 5. Legrath

  21. yes, purchased a set of those a couple of weeks ago, give http://www.swtyres.co.uk a ring they will have them in stock for delivery
  22. Sort of....Zed ran till 2000 ! ....I think the supra, skyline and RX7 ran till 2002 but yeh, every few years they replaced them with newer versions...whereas Nissan kept its No.1 Sports car the same through the years with just very mild changes.
  23. nope, none are them are in production...except the new GTR which I dont think it out yet
