Hi,

Just wondered if the alloys i bought for my S14 200sx will fit my 300zx 2+2991 spec). Im going to be sellingmy 200 so would like to keep the alloys if possible for my zed.

sizes?

there should be no problems, but i'd check the sizes first.

I think the PCD is the same and the centre bore too.

Not sure about offset.

Plus the 300 needs wider tyres than the 200SX obviously.

off set on 200sx 5 stud is 35-42 i think the zed is 35-45?

Slick Pete usually drives his Z32 with S14 front wheels.

Indeedy!

And I use 200sx fronts cos they are narrow and hence lighter and since they only have 205 section tyres they have less rolling resistance.

BUT ...." Dont try this at home" :nono:

Its only for going 1/4 mile in a straight line!

The rest of the time I have 8.5"Azevs with 245/40-18s on.

You do notice a difference! ;)

Its not my style or place in life to be telling other humans wot to do or not do.. but I have to say as an experienced performance car driver that running a 205 section tyre on a 230BHP heavy Jap sportscar is not advisable(and may be verging on the unsafe)

The Stock Nissan spec was 225 all round for Japan with its low top speeds and 225/245 for Britain/Europe where M way /Autobahn speeds and distances are used.

Dont be mislead by my post about using 205 tyres on 200sx wheels. I only fit these for drag racing for the reasons stated above. I drive to the track like Miss Daisy due to their unsuitability for normal road use on a 300ZX.

As always. IMHO and no slur /offence intended.

I have a uk spec '93 tt and ran S14 200SX wheels on the 'rears' for over a year! They fit fine and are great fun!

Ok, I will visit my local wheel centre and see what they say but looks like i will be buying some new ones. Im selling the s14 so will just bump the price up with the wheels included.

Me again, another dumb question im sure but seen as i shouldnt fit 205 tyres on a zx could I fit 225tyres to the wheels I have.?? I think they are wider than the standard zx wheels anyway.
