  1. I reinstated mine, took me several years because there are variations, but I got there in the end. Bet many zed owners don’t know what year either ?.
  2. Before I fit the extra 5mm on the front.
  3. I have Akebono brakes, a long way from standard and I have HSD coilovers. For more pics of the wheels, etc, you’ll be best served going here ??. When I first saw the wheels on the car which Jim fit, I liked but now it’s love ❤️.
  4. I would joel yes you’re spot on, a 10mm spacer would be required giving me a mm of clearance if I would have bought at +27, they are in effect mine a +17 yes, whichever way you get there. The less I went with the offset the more attractive the wheel become, ie more dish, to match the rear dish with that being wider, I had to find the happy medium. I bought longer studs, you won’t have to but get them out another 5mm like I did, it was bothering me ?.
  5. Josh Lake imported mine and has since told me that prices have at least tripled since my purchase 30 months ago. My import was a manual I forgot to add and rated 3.5, Jimmer has said it's as clean as any car that has been through his hands. If you got yours for that I think you've done very well indeed.
  6. Mine are 18 inch Work Emotion CR2P, all are concave A fitment. Gloss Gunmetal with Polished Lip. Rears are +32 and 9.5J with 275/35 wide tyre. Fronts are also +32 and 8.5J with 245/35 tyre. Rears have no spacers, fronts have a 15mm spacer and I have Akebonos fitted. When I ordered I tried to be brave but I could have gone with +27 for the fronts but I had to play it safe being mindful of brake clearance and knew I had spacers to play with to obtain the final look.
  7. How much was that, do you want to share ? I got a 137,000km, 1995 NA, it was then but not now, about 3 years ago and paid £4500, a steal.
  8. Are those 17 inch because 18’s for me are the way to go on a SWB ?
  9. I love silver ones as well ??.
  10. Happy Birthday Dave, hope you went out for a drive ?.
  11. Interesting your black tweed comment Si, that is what was in this new import April 95 car I got, I thought it was tweed but sprayed black, as I never knew it came in black.
  12. There is one on ebay, of course it's a risk but it seems an honest appraisal. Nissan 300zx twin turbo - manual gearbox | eBay
  13. An up to date engine bay pic, I've polished nothing and never will, a bit of red going on and some bits not to everybody's taste but this is how it's staying. There are some extra cables/vacuum hose put in, which await a Link G4 system, only thing left to do pretty much.
  14. Mine is better ! Lucky I still have those scribbles ?.
  15. Some notes I made from a LWB loom fyi, it notes how the wire colours change along their journey !!
  16. White and purple is pump positive. Black is the pumps negative. Well it is on my SWB pump assy here and I believe in the summer when I had a LWB pump in front of me, the wire colours were the same.
  17. You have Jap spec wheels, the most common. 8.5J rears were fit to the UKDM, much harder to come by.
  18. Having fit a brand new front undertray, this new import of mine was equipped with the rear engine undertray, it is made of fibre and certainly wasn't present on my previous car, so I cleaned it up. I'm missing the flap but I have an old plastic front undertray and I'll make up a piece from that. I believe these can be still bought, mine does have a crack and is far from perfect, so I'll be mindful of that but for the time being I'm happy with this. Again, all factory bolts with the odd penny washer.
  19. It took me 10 or so years to have my low fuel light work, there's a thread on this somewhere, so this new import I wasn't sure if it worked or not and with it not being used and too much fuel in the tank, I just needed to do this today. Jim fit an uprated fuel pump in the build, this goes in the left chamber, in fact that's where the thermistor is that makes the low fuel light come on when it's exposed out of the fuel. I needn't have bothered because simulating low fuel with the floats, the dash light came on but it's another job ticked off. Whilst there I fit all new 12mm spring clips in both chambers.
  20. A long journey Graham but you've got there my friend, well done. Mine will have the power like what you had prior to this latest work but mine's the lighter shorter variant of course with no heavy glass roof !!
  21. There's a steel frame attaches onto there and this holds down the gaitor with 4 silver screws.
  22. My last car was fit with LWB spats, meaning the rears were not as chunky as the proper SWB and fitment was just not as it should have been, front spats are the same on all variants fyi. I was incredibly lucky to acquire these SWB ones, again many years ago, they were untouched black which I did offer up to the car but I believe they need to be body coloured, so they were hung up and sprayed. Picture showing the rear view and a side on view, I think they bring the car down, I love them. Again, all factory located screw in points and some 3M double sided tape applied where necessary as Nissan did.
  23. I have the keyless series 4 onwards option, slight differences in the door locks you may notice, fiddle to say the least to fit but all done now. Whilst there I fit my metal quadrants instead of the plastic ones for the lock barrel mechanism, barrel also swapped to my titanium key, that now matches the boot, ignition, etc.
  24. Got some Japanese road tax, permits, not sure but I'm keeping in this location, these were on the car when it was imported a couple of years ago.
