What did you do to your zed today?
I have briefly come out of retirement to amend/update something i did for someone 18 months ago, switchback halos are available these days :cool3:. Only quickly rigged up, running or side light............. That switches to a good strong amber when you signal, it then returns automatically to the white once the stalk is cancelled :).

300zx windscreens - difficulty in getting replacements.
It was Autowindscreens that fit my Pilkington blue screen about 5 years ago, paid possibly £150.00 and i did hear that 8 week lead time but all of a sudden they were ringing me. Think you'll be ok at that price :).

Help needed with HID problem
Don't think you've swapped over the HID bulbs though :). 'Upgrading' the fuses will make no difference, from memory are they 15amp, if so use the correct size.

Black or Body coloured bumper trim?
I was browsing in Halfords and i've known for a while that my colour code KL0 is what Halfords call Starburst Silver. I was also looking for the Toyota Grey and the Decuma Grey caught my eye, i then looked in their brochure and i found this is actually the 1G3 paint code. I also have found this June 2014 thread where Steams mentions Decuma grey many many times.......... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?177421-Moustache-dilema-AGAIN!&highlight=decuma+grey

Perfectly normal. If memory serves i have a grey wire that does nothing, don't worry about it if that's the case.

I can see what has happened there, the later series plenums are a bit thin on the ground, that's what i did though, get a spare first and worked on that .- "You picked a fine time to leave me, Loose Wheel!" - Mondo's new Zed.

I was whizzing along at 84 today and cars in front were going away from me, didn't feel like i was doing that speed though in my daily. I wouldn't go past a traffic cop at 84, bit cocky is that but i have done so quite regularly at high 70's, they aren't interested and never give chase, this i assume is because i have done it safely and without aggression, think it's an unwritten rule that the speed limit on a motorway is not 70, certainly not enforced as such unless you drive like a right cock.- New project
Just out of interest Tom, why do you call 'her' Meg ? What are the springs like, not too bouncy i hope :innocent:.- # 4 - what am I doing? Little build thread!
real estate indeed....love it .- Fog light install
No it's not normal, you'd get 12v whatever else is on or not on. Your hazards work ? If so check again with that multi meter for your own piece of mind, which does leave me to ask.....are they filament type bulbs as opposed to led/smd type ? Plenty of charge in battery ? The indicator relay is up by the pedals fyi. Any butchering gone on with the wiring ? Sometimes a side light feed can be taken from the front fogs and moved to the indicator, so check what is going on, remove tape completely if it's there. Sounds like one you might have to solve yourself.- Fog light install
And why would this be Chris, don't think it adversely affects another light, you could still keep the two outer stop lights for mot time and have the r/h fog either on it's own or both the inner stop lamps as fogs.- Fog light install
One switch spade goes to ground, one to the back of the car and the final spade - your 'live' to any sidelight wire, live therefore when you turn the dial once or put on your front fogs which if you didn't know turns the sidelights on as well.- JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
