  1. Will SD-40 work just as well .
  2. There are more than 2 behind the boot trim inside and i'm sure there are two each side accessed from inside in the arch, bit difficult these and one behind the wheel and don't forget the number plate lift up thingy. All from memory.
  3. Straight, bent..........shouldn't really matter in these 'modern' times Lee.
  4. It's all there in that back corner, my bottle however on series 4 is on the r/h front corner with a pump for front and a pump for the rear screen.
  5. 'How am i supposed to live without you' would be more apt with the Z love Gaz - definite his Michael Bolton phase though i'm with you there, any more pics to amuse us Chris .
  6. My car is safely tucked up my garage and has been for 6 months, still waiting for my respray guy to get back to work - he's had the winter off from his day job, none of this concerns me one jot. From my friend Banzai Paul i got some proper SWB spats, i have had LWB ones fitted all these years because the shorty ones are hard to come by. They are in great condition as well, i am thinking i'll leave them stock black but we'll see, certainly initially. The front spats are the same on both variants but the difference is in the rear, much broader on the SWB and the rise up to the swage line is less, shown below.....
  7. I'd fit the warped bumper Lee - sounds quicker than a standard one .
  8. Happy birthday :thumbup1:.
  9. That's right - he was called Guy iirc .
  10. I'd love it to proceed but the answer to your question is no atm.
  11. BooHoo . 'Hi Andy, Apologies for the late response. Unfortunately we would not be able to reproduce the side door glass. We appreciate your offer to lend us the glass to make a mould but unfortunately the decision has been made only this week to close the manufacturing plant at Queenborough and so we are not in a position to undertake any new tooling projects. With kind regards Karen'.
  12. They do one in 'gray'. Certainly wouldn't want one that looked like him !!!
  13. I haven't heard back from her in over a week, so earlier tonight i gave her a nudge, saying i am deadly serious about the door blue glass for mine. I have already offered her my 'old' door bronze glass, they must get the tooling from somewhere from which they make a copy from is my guess.
  14. It doesn't make any difference, just do the full year because any money back for let's say 'unused' months, months 7, 8, 9, etc, is not refundable, they're sliding money back scale ends after 6 months from inception anyway, that's how i've always understood it.
  15. Yes and if you hardwire in as in Andrew's suggestion, it wouldn't affect the removal of the tail lights, whereas if you 'went in' after the multi plug you'd have to remove the 3 bulb harness before you could remove the tail light.
  16. I do not the laws regarding boundaries and it might show in my question. Could you not of used the zed cave has the new boundary wall ? I've remembered now so hence my EDIT : Iirc if you are within 2mts of a boundary you can go up to 2.5mts at the ridge under permitted development.
  17. Yes that is the tail light sensor, it lives on the r/h tail light. The harness goes inline and creates a two wire sidelight spur - that is all, nothing else. Invertor is the foam covered block yes. You don't have a harness ? If you look you need to tap into the thick red wire/s, any at your tail lights.
  18. A quick google image you shall find below but like i say it just produces 2 wires that branch off but this is sidelight which you can see going over into the invertor for the light up 300ZX, some wires you see also on the harness are like i say brake.
  19. There is actually a factory inline loom/harness that is used to light up the altia panel, but it's just an elaborate/ott way of spurring off a ground and a sidelight feed. It will have a brake line in it is what i'm saying, so no real different to crimping in on what probably you and we all have.
  20. Yes, you can watch them arrive on site, scratch their heads for a bit, get the measure out, have a brew then if it's a good day do a bit of work with perhaps nipping off site for 30mins, break for lunch then a bit more digging if you're lucky, then another brew, clean up for a good hour using your water and then go home, claiming that was a full day when they're home for 3pm .
  21. It's Karen Ward isn't it, sounds like you've got just that bit further on than me !! She might be smelling a rat............two 300ZX inquiries in a matter of days .
  22. For information with regard my request to getting Pilkington to do something for us, i have heard back and the question they asked was the door glass flat. I answered of course in the negative, i went on to mention this was not just me with blue glass desires and they could have my spare SWB bronze door glass to copy, much more to come i hope.
  23. I am confused, where is the latte macchiato button .
  24. Was he heading to a village people convention do you know ? Happy birthday.
  25. Happy birthday Lee :thumbup1:.
