Airbag OE Steering Wheels wiring help
After years of trying to reinstate the 1994 airbag after a previous owner removed/butchered wires, you're doing it the other way, it's each to their own but I wouldn't. Anyway, you've sorted the 1994 and you're having trouble with the ribbon type connectors from the vert 1992 ? One ribbon is the horn connection and other is the airbag connector. You can buy an airbag tester simulator type resistor diagnostic thingy for a few pounds.

Happy Birthday phutumsch
Thanks girls ;). I've picked this up today, the one in the foreground is better than the one I had already in the background. I have both with the the oem cig lighter compressor. Only for the swb these are, alloy ones, as opposed to the not as nice looking swb steel ones, my opinion of course.

Side Mirror Removal
You’ll need to get some strips of rag behind the mirror and tease it off it’s lugs, then about 6 screws and the plastic body will be off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Battery life - engine off, ignition on
Yeah mine does that, tells me to start the vehicle and if I ignore it shuts down, clever knowing how many volts it needs to preserve for another crank.

Intercoolers
I run my pace smlc’s without ducts Tom, never been a problem for the last 5 years or so. If some fell in my lap I would then have a go at fitting them but I’m not losing sleep over not having anything there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks like parts from my crashed 300 are coming on EBay
Yes he or she is on the top side but best offer is available, I did think the boot release for the keyless entry was not too bad at £38 but I have one on the donor and it works perfect :cool3:.

99 spec lights - Glass
I haven't got any remnants of tail lights like I used to have but I have looked and make of it what you may, there is some truth in what you say Birdman. My genuine 99's both have the writing in the red section so top, I have some amber tails fitted to the 1995 donor and these have writing both at the bottom. I believe somewhere around 1995, possibly series 4 late 1994 onwards, amber light inserts changed from grey to solid black, my donor ones are solid black and the reverse light panel is also black and matches. Much the same as the facelift ones are all a matching chrome, it's a minefield though and you've opened a can of worms !! However, I have another set which are converted from an amber set that I know for sure but not necessarily a truly matching pair which I know throws a spanner, chosen at random by myself clearly picking the two best off the shelf at the time, so one could be from a UK and one Jap for instance or one could be 1989 and the other 1997.........….one has the writing on the top just like a 99, the left one though its writing is on the bottom. Let's liven this getting a little anal thread up with a pic !! Writing you may notice is again in the red section under the reflector which could make the facelift lights differ from the earlier series ones, we'd need others to clarify.

99 spec lights - Glass
No Lee the writing is the same right through from 89, Nissan never altered the lenses only the internals. Migrate some and you can call them genuine facelift tails. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

99 spec lights - Glass
Not to my knowledge Lee. They will be worth double so cannibalise some amber ones, as you know the lenses are identical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1995 Silver Series IV Slicktop Version S - Taking To Another Level
Sadly Bones28 (Tony) wrote his 1995 off but we liaised and he mentioned I could have his genuine keyless lock remote which he kindly remembered I was struggling to get hold of quite recently, we liaised further and ended up swapping something I had for the remote and I was only too pleased to do so. My 1995 donor which is all kitted out, solenoid in the boot, etc, but I was missing the factory remote, I did buy a 'replacement' remote but after briefly trying I could not get this to work. So I sat in the drivers seat and went through the programming procedure and it only works an absolute treat . Thank you Tony once more. It locks and unlocks the doors, it releases the tailgate and it also turns on and off the cabin courtesy light. Here it is top of the pic, you can still use another for the alarm as you'll notice in my case it's a Toad but i'll sort all that out when it is all migrated into my same series 1994. Secondly today, my donor has the late series optional extra of a digital pod but it's completely factory so the lighting on it is poor and not in keeping with a red blue theme I have going on, this I would of done at some point myself. However, I spotted another directional one on ebay, as a bonus advertised as having a led conversion and here it is for testing purposes in the donor below, i'm going to presume Groover has had it in his hands because it is in a red and blue loveliness, so I don't need to do a thing with it :).

What did you do to your zed today?
Mid sheen finish is the way to go Richard, consider the bumper or trim black spray paints. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
