  6. Stop it that man, give yourself a slap ☺️.
  7. I have 2 x pairs of swb glass, one is bronze and the other is blue I think, need to dig out, they're scratched of course but if you're desperate. I won't want much, I'll never need again.
  8. One last picture, this the view from the Bund as it is called, not a bad skyline ?. The twisty tower on the right is the 2nd tallest in the world, went up but at the top it was cloudy ?.
  9. Those are my museum pictures, a few stops away on the metro was Shanghai Circuit, so we hopped off to have a look around, it was deserted ?. This was the view on leaving the station, it soon became apparent that I was at the F1 Shanghai venue. This next pic faced the entrance, it is actually the SAIC - Shanghai Audi International Circuit. A sign to different areas.... I think this distance pic is the pit lane, if you can also imagine this would heaving on a race day with cars parked and folks.... Map of the area, Shanghai Circuit and the M squiggle is the metro underground station fyi.... Then the main grandstand, you may notice a touring car event being advertised. We couldn't get any further unfortunately, but at least we can say we were there ☹️.
  10. Yes a satin black for scuttles, radio console, arch liners, interior trim pieces, etc, what bits and bobs....engine bay ?
  11. Not far to travel on the metro underground, my wife and I visited Shanghai International Automobile City, it was a quiet area with dealerships scattered about. There is a museum in one of the buildings and this was our reason for our visit and here are some of the cars I chose to picture, first a Mercedes 300SL, thought the colour of this was superb. What next, how about a little mini.... There was a GTR... And from the rear..... And a write up.... A coontash…. E-type….. A Dino... Another Ferrari.... Then an old Datsun..... 240z..…. With a write up.... Scalextric type track, not in use sadly....
  12. Yep, I use petrol on the sealant for the rear lights, works a treat.
  13. I never paid Joel if that’s what you mean ?.
  14. I’ve now sacked Tapatalk off, not used it for a couple of weeks, more than happy with this on the phone ?.
  15. Black is more forgiving in my experience G-Man, once the charcoal insert is back in position, all the side pieces and the rubber surround no sealer is visible unless the assembler has been incredibly sloppy. Anyhow, 90% if not more of the grey sealant will still be in position, it will only be an odd inch or two where you'll need to add extra if at all, a little tip - when you have first removed the glass attend to the grey sealant now because it should be still warm and at it's most pliable, there will be more in areas than others so pull it about and complete the 360 bead best you can. I've actually used the grey lead sealer on erm lead on my property and expect it will work fine but either/or imo. The four clips that hold the glass onto the carcass work very well and tight but only start to go on once the warm glass is compressed into the sealant.
  16. And another thing...…...where the hell does a bloke get a tampon from ?. And what if it gets too wet after you've stuck it into the back hole ?.
  17. Looking at that and diagram 3 in particular, it shows the headlight aim adjuster (red circle) which enables the high beam bulb metal bracket screws (blue circles) to come into view and consequently you're then able to remove, in my experience the plastic beam adjuster cogs are fubared and do not adjust at all. If this is the case you must take the headlights off the car and give them a complete overall on the bench over a winter for instance, access is certainly an issue on the car.,
  18. The glass is attached to the light plastic carcass with some grey sealant, you could warm it up and it'll ease away, I say ease away you may have to pull quite hard or tease but once it starts to come away it will 'rip off', the glass is very strong and thick, if you soften the sealant enough it will yield. It'll come away and be like a stringy grey cheese as you lift off, putting back you may need to add some silicone in an odd place or two but I don't foresee a problem in re assembling/sealing.
  19. That seems to of sorted it sir, thank you ?.
  20. Hi Lee, will you have a look at the Brazilian GP thread I put up, I cannot edit my first post, so you see another from me which I could edit but now cannot, I've never been able to edit the first op the button is not there ?
