  1. Needles can be removed with a fork :).
  2. Put your ‘other’ Ecu back on and my guess is your issue will go away. Is the ecu currently fitted chipped, is that the reason for the swap out ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Happy birthday :happybday:.

  5. Have a good day Ian :cool3:.
  6. I bought all they had at the time in large pieces, so cannot replace hence my reluctance in the past to sell but things have changed. Here's a pic and I can supply enough of the pin stripe for the job, it's probably just over a meter but I may split/cut to length this into the 12 pieces required. One side of the diffuser is flat and the other raised, you'll attach as is to the light insert, for this I used hot glue in places for immediate hold, with a rotary tool I then trimmed a tiny bit off the corners of the diffuser and then lavished flexible silicone all around, leave to cure. £25 delivered for the lenses or £27.50 with the stripes.
  7. I too think this is the way to go, I don't think the 3 pieces are expensive at all brand new - buy once is what I say. Don't forget 2nd hand they fetch good money, so it is not money down the drain at all, that's if you ever see them advertised !!
  8. I'll sell you the 2 x clear diffuser lenses if you like, cut more or less to size and it matches perfectly the top red part, so better than the one used in the video you posted. You'll need to attach these to the plastic insert with silicone. You do need 2mm pin stripe like Birdy says, I have this as well, you'll need to apply free hand though and there's a skill to that.
  9. Now that is a good track, one of the best ever written imo :thumbup1:.
  10. Lets update...……… All the work above was done with tricking the car to thinking that I was low on fuel but now having started the car pretty much every 2 months for 2 years whilst in storage, the fuel finally ran low enough for the the fuel symbol to come on naturally :thumbup1:. I knew last time the fuel level was getting low, so yesterday on firing up and driving out of the garage I pleasantly noticed the symbol was on, so I went inside to get my camera, on my return though the light was off !!! Anyway, a bit more rolling about and gentle revving and back it came on, I have the needle perfectly positioned as well, looking straight on it's sitting a shade above the minimum mark :cool3:. So for the first time since my ownership began in 2009 I have a working low fuel light .
  11. Happy birthday Ash .
  12. Have a good day GG .
  13. Thank you but will our dairy milk eggs (other eggs are available!) arrive in the post next week [emoji23]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I had to be careful with my Nissan Pathfinder rental in the states last week. I checked with the clerk and she confirmed to me it took ‘regular’ but the pumps/pipes were black !! I could choose the octane which gave it away but I wasn’t 100%. It would then stutter on the road which concerned me but it was the intelligent cruise control feature slowing me up when I was in proximity of a vehicle ahead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Once the thermistor is no longer immersed in fuel, this triggers the low fuel light, so we know that’s working. It’s the inaccurate needle position or reading, I’d be taking the cluster out initially, perhaps manually travelling the needle, this is where having a spare is very helpful, you don’t know what’s been happening before your ownership? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. And does it move steadily down as you go through a full tank, it is moving through only 50% of normal travel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. If I understand correctly, it never goes above half way, as it ever? Take the needle off and position yourself at just above the full mark, when you’ve filled pretty much to the brim that is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The urge is not very strong !! When I first talked to czp, 5th Feb 2019, Nick said they were showing 4 switch finishers in stock, of course I have two of that stock now, might be worth enquiring. EDIT: I had to reply to czp just now, so I asked about stock levels for you, watch this space !! EDIT 2: Another one bites the dust....all gone.
  19. Just having returned from the US, I got an order delivered to my hotel from Nick at CZP, superb to deal with btw... Here's my purchases, top left we have the Nissan sports universal horns, 65722-30P10, I have the oem covers for these as well. What prompted my order was that I wanted the RHD LH window finisher, not many of these left in the world I believe, so I bought 2 !!! My Bose speaker covers were recovered a few years ago with black tights, actually worked very well !!!! Spotted that they were available so bought a pair, 28175-30P20 and 28174-30P20. Same as the Bose covers in that I did have some vgc bonnet hinge covers but bought some more. Another brand new red ornament bought...….. I've always liked the petrol filler cap with the writing on, I now own . And here it is against the 'tatty' unclean old one !!
  20. It's certainly potent stuff...…….
  21. Some members are a little slow :innocent:.
  22. He's probably being mindful that Emirates do fly direct iirc, therefore a saving in time there and back, he's not daft :p.
  23. Think that indicator stalk extra plug birdman, is for the front kerb lights ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
