All done, Just a few cables for the starter to fit and prime the oil pipes on the turbos and she's good to go.

Hi, Split this into a different topic as that thread you posted on was 2 years old. Can you provide more information?

Next we need to get the pcv pipes on, add the balance bar and fuel rail. Also the Fuel Dampener and Fuel Pressure Regulator.

Water pipes at the back were also replaced which made the connections with the jubilee clips very tight to get on.

Getting very close to putting this engine in the zed now and its getting very exciting again. Had to order up a few new hoses which arrived yesterday as well as a set of spark plugs which was installed today. And had an issue last time with the water pipe kinking which i didnt trust so i ordered a 90 degree elbow which when fitted doesnt crush.

Also start to attach all the auxiliary hoses like the water pipes and vac pipes. However thinking this would be simple would be wrong; things have been scattered over the years and a few of the pipes are missing. So thought i'll crack on to the plenum so i fitted the fuel rail down nice and snug. Next issue we have - Spark plugs - no-where to be found !! So looks like i'm building another list of parts thats needed.

Back to work on the zed this morning and all was going well until i discovered that the stock intake turbo pipes wont fit with the oem heat sheilds. appears the clearance isnt there so i had to take them back off .

So i decided to skip trying to find an adaptor for the oil line and just relocated the oil sender to the other side instead. Much cleaner this way and all new pipes fitted now.

Next issue is for the left bank, as the instructions and pipe work are designed for the USA market and such do not take into account the stock oil pressure sensor. I know need to work out how to adapt the pipe from the two different threads. below is part of the stock oil line that feeds the turbos, on the right is the new hose i need to adapt to. I had an idea to use this connection but the oil feed bolts thread is too long so it will never tighten.

3 hours to install the first turbo ☹️ After figuring out how to install the water and oil feed pipes i discovered (only after spending 30 minutes doing the bolts) that the actuator falls foul of the oil tree and the oil feed connector block. Back off they came and grinded some of the oil tree in hopes it clears it when its on. Very close But i think that will do.

Nearly impossible to torque down the bolts for these AMS manifolds. You can only get into two of the bolts with a wrench, the others are on as tight as i can get without rounding the nuts.
