Got a few more hours in the garage again today and managed to fit all my japspeed stuff New downpipes were a bugger to fit and I shredded my hands a few times tightening bolts. The japspeed system all in wasn't the easiest of jobs to be done and I certainly couldn't have done it without the post lift or the gearbox stand to push it slowly into place.

so the large rubber boot looks to be the oil pressure sender but mine is the passenger side i'm sure. Seen a few pics where its next to the oil filter too. anyone confirm this?

Also whats the safest route past the turbos to the connections where they fit at the light.

ok, Got me this new loom and since the old one was so foo bared I'm finding it hard to match up connections. Anyone tell me what's what ? A few are obvious because of there location like the very ends but kind stuck with the one that's got the large boot on it and a few of the skinner one.

Yeh, Plan was to get it to JAE but doubt i'll have enough time to re-assemble it all.

Been a week since I've updated everyone but I can say that : The engine is now in, new clutch fitted, gearbox is back in, and finally single piece prop is fitted ! Got a few hours in the workshop tomorrow so will get some more pics then !

Cheers andy, I think I have some of the old Mikalor clamps left somewhere but not a full set. Hopefully i'll find them over the weekend and fix it all up.

Anyone know the sizes for the lower clamps near the intercoolers. Mines are rusted to bits and I chucked them when I stripped the zed last year.

All the major internet carriers ! Its like the Y2K bug in a way, years ago they never thought that there would be so many websites / routes to destinations. Every major carriers routers hold a cached copy of all the major routes of the internet and last week and new major TLD's were launched the top limit that these routers can handle was reached. Luckily for most it was just a firmware update for the fix rather than a full replacement. Our own host had this problem just over a week ago but they upgraded there main routers fairly quickly.

That's the plan ! but for the moment time is against me and I'm short of cash to get them all done. although the zed is purple I've kept the engine bay fully matte black which makes it actually look very clean and will highlight and other colour parts on the engine or around it. the side pipes which run to the turbos are red but they will be getting done in purple too.

The red rocker covers you see are from my previous build and I've decided to change them, Never guess what colour, lol : Now the covers are the same purple i'm thinking about changing all my vac hoses and water pipes to black.

Over the last day or so I've been working to rebuild the interior, I've was held back slightly on Wednesday getting the dash in as over the period of the year that the zeds been off the road; various important pieces required for the reassembly went amiss and its taken me the days in between to source them again from the various locations all my zed parts have been stored. Anyways first rebuilt on Monday this is the first time I've really saw the targas refitted with all new trims and rubbers : Nice tight fit now so hopefully after the rubbers have been properly sealed they won't leak. Also for the first time we unwrapped my engine which was fantastically rebuilt be Lee Dent. Looking very clean !
