  1. Cheers andy, I think I have some of the old Mikalor clamps left somewhere but not a full set. Hopefully i'll find them over the weekend and fix it all up.

  3. Anyone know the sizes for the lower clamps near the intercoolers. Mines are rusted to bits and I chucked them when I stripped the zed last year.
  4. What's up with the clocks? They came out the Pearl breaker I had and should be working.
  5. Conspiracy of Japan Imports smuggling pills in the headlights, lol
  6. Found the same in mine after I refurbed mine !
  7. All the major internet carriers ! Its like the Y2K bug in a way, years ago they never thought that there would be so many websites / routes to destinations. Every major carriers routers hold a cached copy of all the major routes of the internet and last week and new major TLD's were launched the top limit that these routers can handle was reached. Luckily for most it was just a firmware update for the fix rather than a full replacement. Our own host had this problem just over a week ago but they upgraded there main routers fairly quickly.
  8. Lol, Was a reference to Jurassic Park.
  9. Just heard the news that the dinosaur inventor has died ! Maybe we can clone his DNA.
  10. Now when they say Sky is the limits that's fairly True ! As they limit bloody everything you do, lol
  11. Thanks for the continued support, :)
  12. That's the plan ! but for the moment time is against me and I'm short of cash to get them all done. although the zed is purple I've kept the engine bay fully matte black which makes it actually look very clean and will highlight and other colour parts on the engine or around it. the side pipes which run to the turbos are red but they will be getting done in purple too.
  13. The red rocker covers you see are from my previous build and I've decided to change them, Never guess what colour, lol : Now the covers are the same purple i'm thinking about changing all my vac hoses and water pipes to black.
  14. Over the last day or so I've been working to rebuild the interior, I've was held back slightly on Wednesday getting the dash in as over the period of the year that the zeds been off the road; various important pieces required for the reassembly went amiss and its taken me the days in between to source them again from the various locations all my zed parts have been stored. Anyways first rebuilt on Monday this is the first time I've really saw the targas refitted with all new trims and rubbers : Nice tight fit now so hopefully after the rubbers have been properly sealed they won't leak. Also for the first time we unwrapped my engine which was fantastically rebuilt be Lee Dent. Looking very clean !
  15. Belated Happy Birthday Buddy ! Read this on the day on my phone but forgot to post a birthday wish later, lol
  16. A leak from the windscreen itself?
  17. Yeh, Its the only part of the zed that's not been polished yet as ive had them at home.
  18. So final corner pieces of my targas arrived today so I finally managed to get them back together. One thing to not if anyone decides to dismantle these take not in the order they come to bits ! Surprisingly shiny glass !
  19. After my interior rebuild today I had this exact problem, but mine was caused by the steering column just been generally free from the top mound for the last six months. After all the time its worked its way loose and the spline moved up by an inch. After loosing the bolts we finally got it back in place but it took two of us to move the damn thing.
  20. Day one of interior rebuild and managed to get the inner loom in, added all the aircon parts and hooked up the new engine loom so I could secure the cable from the inside of the bulk head. Then Finally got the carpet refitted too.
  21. What series is it ? if it's a series 3/4 then the support bars bolts are higher up. could be the steering column been replaced by an older series hence it's further up as you say. not sure about a shorty being shorter as say but I do know the bolt holes on my series 4 are closer to the drivers sitting position compared to older ones.
  22. If anything I think this year everyone's upping there game ! Seems to be a good year for zed rebuilds, could it be because the 25th anniversary ?, or a year where folk actually have cash to spend. Or is the fact that a few of us have created new build threads that its influencing the rest and giving inspiration. Good things come to those who zed. lol
  23. The interior is just a shell so its a full rebuild. Wiring loom, Blower, Heater Matrix, Cooler, Aircon Pipes, All Dash supports, Dash, Front Dash panels, Door Trims, room trims, carpet, seats, quarter glass trims and everything to the rear. So a few days might just be enough; I hope.
