  1. reverse lights are led and nothing in the back has changed, I've checked the connections and they all look good.
  2. Not sure if this has anything to do with it but my cruise on off doesn't work, as I cant hear the relay click any longer.
  3. Anyone got a procedure I can use to check these. I did have a burnt loom so something could be blown but I cant find any fuses or relays. Also when I bypass the gearbox loom and connect the cables near the left headlight its still dead. I know its not needed for the MOT but still like to fix it.
  4. Front callipers are now rebuilt with fresh pistons, seals, pads, shims and hoses.
  5. Plan a few touch ups with the caps but I think the reservoir needs a clean as much as changing the fluid in it.
  6. For the sake of £12 its not worth the risk I guess. Stick with a genuine filter from Nissan like this ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Z32-300ZX-VG30DETT-Twin-Turbo-Brand-New-Genuine-Oil-Filter-From-Conceptua-/111411171446?hash=item19f09f9076
  7. No, What's up with it ? Also I have more than the average power steering fluid as I installed an extra cooler.
  8. Couple of more goodies arrived from concept today.
  9. Finally peel the wrapper on the radiator cover but not so impressed with cut marks you can see on it.
  10. Every week i'm out at the zed I have been starting her up and although the new engine build still hasn't been properly bedded as such with a long drive she is sound sweet as. [video=youtube_share;0pLpsrZHmXg]
  11. I sold my original momo but after driving in and out of the garage a few times i really miss the way i used to handle the steering, the smaller steering wheel to me is so much more natural.
  12. Looking to order a new momo steering wheel and I fairly like the Gotham. But before I do whats everyone got ?
  13. Lost the nut to secure the petrol cap latch. Need one asap.
  14. Just heard he's away to meet freddie - RIP.
  15. So had a few electrical issues needing resolving with regards to an immobiliser and extra cabling I installed and after 20 minutes if fiddling running cables I decided it was much better minus a dash. So out it came; again : Also took the opportunity to properly route some cables from the boost controller. All in I think I can do this blind folded nearly as the dash was off and on again within an hour or so.
  16. Swapped over the faulty power steering solenoid today. After the solenoid was off would you believe the fluid was draining for nearly 20 minutes. I did removed the top cap but that barely helped it move along. After it was drained I fitted the new solenoid courtesy of art123 and refilled the system with oil.
  17. Its connected to some sort of sensor, honestly not sure myself.
  18. I kinda liked the idea of Rolandis thread of how his zed has changed so thought we could start a big thread showing what folks have done since they bought there zed until now. I'll start with my project zed as its come leaps and bound since I first got it :
  19. Amazing looking zed you have there ! :)
  20. Back callipers now painted And picked up my new hoses from my garage
  21. Missing the middle dash vent and needed asap to complete my build. Anyone got one ?
