  1. these any good... http://stores.ebay.co.uk/conceptua-tuning/_i.html?_nkw=alloy+nuts&submit=Search&_sid=216314002 my understanding is that the thread pitch is the same as the skyline.... give them a ring..
  2. Also I can't see why Zedworld wouldn't do as much as you wanted... just ask them, however the more work the longer it will take (as well as increased price). Saying that, I also can't think of any other company that could do the job that would know more about Zed's or how to take stuff off and what to take off and where any problem areas might be. Like I said give them a call and have a chat.
  3. it will also depend on how you park the car (what angle) and the rubber seal around the targa, take the roof off make sure everything is clean and the rubber is sealed to the body well. clean the rubber with some black to black or rubber protection to make it more supple and seal better. when you put the pipe back on also use a sealant and cable tie, careful you don't pull it out of the grommet through the front wing (the drivers side is a nightmare to get back in.. lol). JeffTT has some threads on leaks.
  4. Have you checked... 1 - the rest of the connectors (i.e. ecu temp sender unit & fuel temp sender unit..) 2 - the connectors on the IAA (back of the block near the battery) 3 - TPS voltage. 4 - vac/boot pressure (and how)
  5. Ah, don't think so.... one to the sender unit and one to earth... mmmm how on earth does it measure anything without power? the only way would be that that gauge needed a sender unit that has two plugs... one for power and the other to take the signal to the gauge and the Zed one doesn't. so I think you need to find out what sender unit it is supposed to work with.
  6. I know Zedworld do it, I think the price is on their web site... but you could give them a call to confirm (and also check if you want to do the trip up to them).
  7. MMMmmmm, I'm not sure that's right.... unless it just connects to the wire from/to the temp gauge.. My understanding was that the gauge should have a power supply, an earth and a wire to the sender that returns a resistance. (as well as the wires for the light / illumination) I suppose it could just have a power supply and then the signal wire. Maybe you should ask him for an instillation or wiring diagram.
  8. it sounds like you are talking singular.... surely you mean both your PCV valves??? clean them and put them back in, if it makes no difference to whatever problem you've got, get new ones and if still not difference it's not a problem with them... :)
  9. Ah, right so you've fitted an after market temp gauge.... well it depends on what it is to if it will work with the Zeds standard temp sender unit. I installed a Tim temp gauge (I like the retro look) but it won't work with the standard sensor, I put a resistor in line to adjust it (not the best solution) you should be able to get the right sensor unit for your gauge from the place of purchase. Was the original temp gauge working OK? if you do need another one, then Zedworld or MJP (in the traders section)
  10. LOL.. car sales people have no idea!!! an no specs or dyno sheet.... way too much money and could anyone live with that interior... I guess hey couldn't make up their minds what colour to stick with... I wonder how much rust there'd be under that kit...
  11.:rofl::rofl: and so helpful too....
  12. kind of reminds me of "Alien"....
  13. i have heard that they can cause extreme swelling.... on a serious note, good to see you OK...
  14. LOL...I was that age too... same thing, living room, B/W TV.... transfixed.... I can't believe it was that long ago...
  15. LOL...come on..... the online one!!!! check in the FAQ section.... first call for everything :)
  16. easy job... can't remember exactly as it was some time back but I didn't need new clips.... there are a few screws to undo and I think you may have to take the rear seat out as well.... have a look in the Service manual...
  17. Hi and welcome.... here is a link to a how to post pics on the forum (from the FAQ section) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?116565-Posting-Pictures-using-Photobucket this one uses Photobucket as the host but you could use any of the others (type "photo hosting" in a search engine) or you can even use facebook.
  18. if there is nothing else wrong with it (apart form maybe needing new turbos) then the £800 is a good price. but remember these cars cost money to keep going and maintain... some people on here manage to get away with very little expense.... but never ever assume that will be you!!!
  19. well that points to an earth issue ........ go over what you've done, what wires you've moved....
  20. check the electric in the foot well for corrosion and make sure the tagar drains are working OK (i.e. draining to the outside of the car) you can check the fuses while your down there (as advised above)... :)
  21. if you want to go though the drivers side you could use the hole for the bonnet release cable (but you will have to make sure you don't get in the way of the pedals mechanism).
  22. there are earths all over the car... also check the battery terminal is clean and on tight.
  23. as above... however not having earth.grounds connected right can cause all kinds of issues.... My electric antenna wouldn't work until I found a loose earth under the stereo, on the hump/body....
  24. fly screens. (not too expensive now) repellent. (yeah sticky and makes it harder to sleep) mozzy zapper (as suggested above) how about a full side hanging bed screen. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l2736&_nkw=Bed+Canopy
