Disabled Drivers Free Road Tax and Parking
I see, you mean like the big banks here and in the US, that have done so well and not got us into this mess in he fist place!!!!! Just in case it isn't obvious, more money equals more greed, corruption and ruthlessness (generally). Why are the people tasked with keeping us safe (the forces) paid so little and yet the people who send them to risk their lives paid so much???? Maybe government should be like conscription and competent business people have to do a term for modest pay and be accountable for their decisions (yeah I know that would never happen).

Rear lights ( Whats the options? )
already discussed... however the close up does look good.... (particularly the LED ones) My personal opinion is that the 4 pot make the back of the car look a little blank.. may be you can shed a little light on the figment ... :)

hid's
Main beam (high beam) are generally only used by people to flash other people.... HID's don't like being flashed, shortens their life. (not to mention the dispersion pater, as there is no projector lens, not that it matter much for high beam) So not really economical but no one is stopping you if you want to used them, but remember you will have two extra ballasts to hide / put somewhere. If you want High beams that batch the low/dipped beam colour there are bulbs available that look more like them.

Rear lights ( Whats the options? )
LOL... yeah, know what he meant.... I was just messing... (or did you do those ones?) I'm doing another set for myself now with some red perspex behind the clear for the break light.... and I'll be putting the pin stripes in this time... already got extra 10mm LED's in both indicator and break but changing them for strips of mini LED's... I've done a mock up and think it will look OK. the ones above where my second all clear set with only three extra 10mm LED's per indicator (you can just see them in behind the lens). I made them all without stripes as i wanted them to be different but I do like the stripe look and so including them in my next set. really i should stop pi55ing about with the light and start getting the rust fixed... nice Zed by the way... :)

Rear lights ( Whats the options? )
don't forget postage and vat.... so stick another £30 + on that price.... not to everyone's taste and only if you like the crystal clear look... they are not in keeping with the other lights on our cars so you really need to marry them with the crystal front indicators as well. don't get me wrong i have seen Zeds with them on and they look great... but it doesn't suit all colours..... (in my opinion anyway).. :)

Rear lights ( Whats the options? )
personally I think the 6 pod look better but they are all a lot of money and don't screw in like the originals.... a lot of time, effort, money and mods.... the best, easiest and cheapest option is to get the modded originals in the 99 style (half the price of the 99 spec)

driving endorsements, how long?
Ah, poo.... :) thanks for clearing that up... now just to make sure I keep in the speed limit.... well at least I will be assured of better petrol mileage....

driving endorsements, how long?
unfortunately I just got done for speeding (motorway) last month.... and I remember the officer telling me that the offense stayed on the license for 5 years but would only be mentionable for 3 (i.e insurance, well I think that is what he meant).... :) does that sound OK?

Idle adjustment
a common issue when putting the balance bar back on is getting one of the brackets trapped under it where it bolts down causing leaks... just check that as well... make sure the fuel temp sender unit is connected and the connector is clean.... there is so much to check after that job... good luck.. so a must would also be the TPS voltage and maybe re adjust the throttle bodies linkage ... I think Jeff did a post on it.

Idle adjustment
does this help... it's the connector with the yellow dot (the higher one when on the car).... the "T" piece is at the top (when on the car) and the unit points away from the battery, so you have to lift cables to see the connectors. let me stress that turning the screw with the connector still on won't help at all!!!! but have you done all the other checks as well? if not you could just be making things worse. you can just see (in the pic) the connector behind the screw...

middlesbrough swb (teesside)
yeah, listen to the parrot.... you said the people who put the engine in damaged the wiring and now you are taking it to someone else who isn't a Zed specialist..... Mmmm, just wondering how long it will be before it gets to Zedworld. No, really, good luck and hope you get it sorted locally, but make sure that are familiar with these cars and can prove it... :)

Idle adjustment
that many not be the problem.... first have you done all the checks with connectors, clean air filter, TPS voltage and timing (with a light)? if so, then easy to adjust the idle... back of the engine (near the batter).. http://z32.wikispaces.com/Idle+Control Fully warm up the car. Turn off engine. Disconnect the electrical connector for the AAC valve (yellow) points upwards. Start car. Turn the Base Idle Screw clockwise until the idle drops to about 650 RPM. Reconnect the AAC valve's connector. The idle should quickly raise, then gradually settle down to about 750 RPM.
