  7. Did the HID conversion for the dipped headlights and I love em, absolutely brilliant, Anybody got any idea if I can do the same for my main beam? can the same power thingies that I had to install for the other lights be used? I dont think I could fit another set of those boxes under the bonnet!!! Cheers Dave
  8. is it really true about the bloke/bird ratio up there? I had always assumed it was some kinda urban legend or something thought up by the local club owners to lure more stag parties to nottingham!! :D

  20. So who has actually managed to fix thier leaky targas once and for all and who is still sat in a puddle like me !! :D Which method did YOU use? Silicone Sealant? Lube it up with vaseline? Replaced the skanky old rubber bits? AutoGlym (or other) Rubber restorer gunk? Another mystical method nobody has heard of?
  21. Thanks for that fella, sounds like that could be it, I think the + terminal may be a bit loose actually, I keep meaning to get a new battery anyway so looks like the perfect excuse. I dont think its the safety thing on the auto stick, but I remember struggling with that when I first got the car, spent about 15 minutes looking a right tit on the garage forecourt trying to get the keys out of the ignition!! stick just needed a little nudge!! :D :slap:
  22. Hello, Over the last week or two I have a bit of a problem starting the Zed, I turn on the ignition, no problems there, dash lights up fine, then when trying to turn the engine over I get nothing, just a click and the dash goes completly dead! Like the car has been immobilised ? fixing it is as simple as quickly unplugging the positive terminal from the battery for a second then popping it back on, alarm kicks up a fuss so i reset it with the remote control and then it starts fine (although I sometimes have to do this 2 or 3 times before the car wants to play) Any ideas what could be causing this? The alarm playing silly buggers was top of my hit list but I just wanted to check it couldn't be the zed before I take it to an alarm place for a new system... Cheers Dave
  23. big tube of evo stick?? I retrimmed the vinyl bits on the targas a couple of days ago, all the clips holding the cover around the handle were broken (by me taking it apart) but the single screw in the centre of the cover seems to do the trick for holding it all together.... try tightening the screw a bit....
  24. sound like a flipping bargain, especially for a UK car!
  25. i finally got around to calling them, i am currently paying mega bucks for 3rd party on my zed and they quoted 387.11 fully comp!!!!!!! im 27 with points and no bonus to speak of! the car has gotta be garaged but im sure I can sort that out!! (and thats with mild mods declared too!!!)
