  1. ive got a red zed and a blue zed and i can confirm the red zed is faster than the blue zed. my last zed was burgandy , which is nearly red, it was faster than the blue zed but not quite as fast as the pure-bred red zed

  4. my vert doesn't have turbos the roof doesnt come off my TT neither of them are the 370 roadster i test drove yesterday
  5. it's fairly normmal to T of the brake vacuum line where it comes off the engine. you will need a non return valve in line. the tanks are there in a tt as when you boost there is no vacuum so the clutch would be heavier on boost as oposed to off boost. the tanks "store vacuum" for when you need it

  7. i watched the first one took a while to get my head round it, but by the end i'd really enjoyed it going to watch the second in a bit
  8. when i had a lwb it had a stock spoiler but i didnt like that then smooth with perspex pannel but this looked wrong then 99 spec :) now i have a swb its smooth and looks great, my first thought was it needs a spoiler, but no the lines of the swb (esp the slicktop) say smooth either way i think its the perspex pannel that makes the rear end look complete
  9. i wondered if it was a football, push chair etc, but it looks so much like a car scrape. i dont see how it could be a car unless someone further down the road who parks on the grass too decided to drive down the pavement and didnt see my car. starting to think it must have happened in the car park at work on friday, its just that i noticed it straight away this morning, but didn't see it on friday either getting in or out (and i noticed the bird shit on the other side) or when looking out the window at various times on saturday torn between really pissed off and life's to short to worry
  10. not sure, might just sit and cry and hope it goes away. its a bitch of a pannel to replace as it goes all the way from behind the boot to below the door, and round the door post theres so much metal welded with the door catch and seat belt etc. had it replaced on my last car (which had a much bigger dent in the same place) and the door never shut properly after
  11. got home from work on friday night and parked outside my house didn't go out all day saturday, went out this morning to find a dent behind the drivers door, presumably someone drove into it. whats really anoying is they would have had to drive down the pavement and then swing in to my car no note left, neighbours didn't see anything :(
  12. the vert has a little plastic flap that you can flip up to divert the air, its mounted on the bit of the car that covers the roof when its down and yes the boot is electric release. you have to have the ignition on to open the boot from the button in the car (to stop thieves) and also it interlocks with the roof cover to stop you opening both at once as they would hit each other

  14. i just painted mine with some of that - not very impresed spent a whole day sanding them to a buitiful smooth finish, sprayed on the "cleaning spray" my mistake - they could have called it "paint stripper", all the sanded paint went soft and lumpy.wipe exes cleaner off with cloth it said - now i have a soft sticky caliper with a chunk of cloth stuck to it. once i'd prepared it again i painted them. i thought it was rather a big tin for claiming to be suitable for 4 calipers. the aplication is shite, the finish is shite, trying not to apply to much paint (cos i'd heared of your drying issue) i ended up with stripes of paint and no paint, the finish is bubly , almost like the paint is carbonated. its taken 4 coats to cover them so i cant see the previous colour and now i'm worried about it not drying
  15. i was going to go, i even registered my vert to go, but never got a reply saying i was acepted, woke up this morning and thought cant be assed to go all that way to be shuved in a car park
  16. i couldnt be bothered with all the hassles of a targa top, so i got a slicktop and a soft top, if the sun comes out i go home and swap cars

  18. i too bought the meisters as part of the group buy, mainly on the fact they were designed for uk roads and promised a comfortable ride very impresed so far with the price, comunication, prompt delivery and look of them. not got round to fitting them yet so can't say how good they actualy are

  21. I didn't take any, there were so many cars i didn't know where to start. Andy Ish took Loads never seen so many expensive cars in one place. the public car park looked like a car show. when i arrived you had to be in a lotus / porche / NSX /TVR /Zed to get in the car park, normal cars were parking in a field at the end of the road
  22. the suggestion was : drive to Goodwood for 8-00am (locals to gather at Halfway House at 6-00am for leisurely drive down to Goodwood?) Breakfast Look at the cars Leave Goodwood 11-00am Approx. 2 hour drive in convoy (at legal speeds and allowing for a bit of Dartford tunnel congestion. Halfway House at 1-00pm for lunch Depart for home when you are able to stand up unaided... not sure how far its progressed, theres a number of people signed up for goodwood and i'm planning to go to both, maybe check with MrF or Marco
  23. i recognise that, i had the bonnet and nose pannel off it
  24. have you made sure that the serial port that the conzult is looking at is the same as the virtual serial port associated with the usb/serial adapter. every time you use a different adapter or use the adapter in a different usb port it will increment the virtual serial port number
