  2. fairly sure that with the clifford alarm, if the car battery goes flat enough you need to enter the alarm code to reset it before it will respond to the key fob

  4. i find that cheap aftermarket gauges are fairly useless. i've never had one that reads the correct temperature, all too low - possibly due to where the temperature sensor is located. with my current car, conzult confirms engine at correct temperature, however the aftermarket gauge reeds about 70 to 75 in summer and is currently reading down around 60 to 65 when on a motorway and will creep back up nearer 70 in town that said yours does seem low, and with it low on the stock gauge too i would suspect the thermostat
  5. well i rekon on there being about that many on this forum alone plus i've seen more than that many unique ones since i bought mine ether in real life or on an advert
  6. i think, Jeff meant the speed sensor is different, so when fitting a TT box to an NA car you need to us the NA speed sensor???? I'm asuming that in a auto to manual conversion the speed sensor comes with the donor manual box???? I'm hoping my problem can be fixed by sourcing a manual NA speed sensor rather than taking the box apart??

  8. ah , i thought that might be why my speedo is out, TT box in an NA. have you got the bit to make mine read right?
  9. the NA pedalbox is a different shape to not take a booster and he already has the pedal box. I think the master cylender may be different too
  10. master cylinder slave cylinder gear stick gear nob frame the gearstick fits in 2 rubber and 1 leather gearstick gaiter
  11. what's the weather like there? forcast seems to think heavy snow tonight and below freezing in the morning
  12. sorry , i meant so they are just depressed fully, but the switch body is not stopping the pedal travel

  16. when you have adjusted the clutch have you wound the 2 switches back first, then adjusted teh pedal, then wound the switches back till they just touch? if you dont then the switches stop the pedal getting a full push on the master cylinder

  18. if it's a '95 reg or later, they are cornering lights. put your head light on, then indicate, then look at the light on the side you are indicating
  19. if the clutch sertvo vacuum line has been T from the brake servo vacuum line with a short hose this can cause pulsing if it has been simply T pieced then be aware that if the clutch servo does spring a leak you will loose the power assist on the brakes
  20. if work goes well on the saturday i should be able to make it for a bit
