  1. I have a '95 zed, and did wonder myself. The way bled them was just to bleed through alot of fluid, pushing any trapped air out of the ABS pump as I went. Never had any probs since doing it.
  2. mmmmm, got a real thing for NSX's at the moment
  3. Come on then dude, whats the score..... If it aint up to scratch, send it back!
  4. Yeah, i bought all my engine parts from CZP
  5. There is this http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=6996&Car_Type=300&UID=2012121316055166.249.73.5 but to me looks like its possibly designed to work with a lockout kit rather than with the HICAS (those outer links dont look like they could be attached the the HICAS rack)
  6. Cheers Stu, Both sides have gone, which is a bit of a bugger. How did you find the quality of the part. I was looking at those and contemplating... Half the price of OE, possibly half the quality.... but if OE have lasted 18 years, im sure these would last 9
  7. I'll be getting OE replacements, not a chance of deleting the HICAS. For one I've got the later fully electronic SUPER HICAS system, and secondly I've always liked the feel of HICAS, it suits my driving style.
  8. Its deffo the bush Jeff, there is lateral movement in the wheel which is coming from this ball joint (not the inner one), it just the first thing I noticed when looking at it was the cover for the bush was split
  9. I keep all my door and targa seals in the best possible condition using this http://www.einszett.co.uk/Gummi-Pflege.php It does has restorative properties aswell, but obviously depends how bad your rubber seals are, but it has certainly proved to be a worthy produce in my car care box of tricks
  10. AH HA! Found the bugger! Its called the Hicas Rear Ball Joint Part Number 55154-30P00 And for future reference, heres a picture (pinched from the net)
  11. I will do, but i need to know what the part is called first, otherwise im on a hiding to nothing I think its the bush for the rear outer tie rods, looking on Z1, they list the rod end (which looks right) but it doesnt have the bush attached..... so going what i think i remember jimmer saying, the bush is part of the hub and not the arm Ring any bells for anyone?
  12. Well, at least thats what id call them The bushes in the rear hubs that the HICAS steering rack connects to have perished and split, and im trying to find either an OE or after market replacement, but im struggling to find them on the usual parts websites. They look like the usual track rod end rubber boots, but jimmer has told me there are infact bushes (assuming that theyre built into the hub that the rod ends feed a shaft through, rather than a boot that attached to the rod end itself) I would post a pic to show what im on about, but the cars with Jimmer... Does any one understand what im whittering on about, if so, can you provide me a link of where i can buy replacements Cheers Nick
  13. About 4-5 inches deep in North Hampshire, and still coming down strong
  14. Yep, pull the fuse and ABS wont work Something else to consider, there is ALOT of pipework on the zeds because of the location of the ABS pump. You MAY end up with a better pedal feel if you were to delete the ABS pump and re pipe all the brake lines from the master cylinder to each individual caliper, rather than it all going from the MC, to the boot, then back out to each caliper
  15. Isherwood is finally got his up for sale i think
  16. without wanting to get into the same old discussion of zed turbos, but its pretty much accepted that they become inefficient over 16.5psi, so while they will go higher, there is almost no point. I didnt just say safe map, i said very very safe in that its been set to over fuel to prevent det, agreed that if that is the case that engine wont be far off bore wash
  17. Thats running very rich, AFR of 10:1 pretty much through the rev range, its deffo got more to give. Wouldnt say you have a boost leak either, looks like boost builds nicely and is pretty consistant but your pretty much on the limit of the Auto turbos at 15psi, more likely that its a very very safe map.
  18. Speak to Jaffa bud, he's doing time attack nowadays and may have come up with a solution for this
  19. Fronts easy (I have 9.5x18 ET 22 up front and fit fine) rears will need a bit of work though due to the offset. I'm running 10jx18 ET 38 at the rear with 295 rubber and deffo needed arch roll - - - Updated - - - Oh, and I'm only running 0.7 degree neg camber at the rear
  20. Hey buddy Hope youre keeping well, great to see the old girl back on the road again!
  21. I forgot to take any pics, took a couple shortly after
  22. Yeah would have been good to catch up mate. Was a good day, but chuffin cold when the sun went in! Always a nice mix of cars though
