  4. little things make all the differance mate ;) now get under the car and top up the screenwash ;)
  5. sorry to see marco, but to be honest its not to bad new wheel exhaust wing mirror engine mount (raise engine) fairly straight forward tie rod (with it disconneted check for roughness on steering if there is no roughness present! its likely all you need is to replace tie rod.
  6. i think most of you are being a bit PC about all this :D
  7. its a PITA as pete says. Just take your time removing all the glue/res seen to many people try to add pressue and smash gave over.
  8. LOL at getting under the car.
  9. unfortunately life goes on, i could just go down the pub and have a laugh. secondly it was me marcus and legrath who had the first south west meet so jog on about the regular's bull:slap: ho ho ho ;)
  10. cant make it guys. Down in taunton with family! sorry for late reply have fun though. And hope you all have a good xmas.
  11. regardless of employment a pay increase should not only be to police officers but for everyone who has to battle against inflation. But agree as a government more should be done to honour what the majority think? to be honest this country as a whole is run by ****ing imigrants, my daughter goes to school where 40% of her class our fookin non british!! joke! so extra staff are needed to cope with the language barrier, not the same subject but when you think about it, its probably issues like this that put extra strain on budgets which affect me and you.
  12. happy birthday bud
  13. glad to see john! look forward to seeing it done bud.
  14. i was making light heart of the situation mark no dig bud :) again stu hope it works out ok mate

  16. caught mine in a jean zip, had to lie in the bath, whilst the jeans were cut in to the shape of a leaf like the ribena advert, lots of fairy liquid and a quick rip, no pain like it!. no problem wearing zip jeans just make sure your wearing boxer shorts before you pull up!
  17. no one's outclassed to last 10 rounds!! try it sometime? regards greg
  18. check your bloody previous post from yesterday LMAO http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=102874
  19. move to britain and be raped by every other tax possible?! :smw:
  20. fook Do you pay council tax in ireland?
  21. C&S woods are rated so no probs there! theres also andyduff on here so worth a search.
  22. do a search bud, should be loads of info mail me @ greg300zx@hotmail.com if you need any info through the operation ;) Make sure you have everything required otherwise the job will obviously take longer. Try and get a custom hose for master-slave cylinder! saves running the old crap pipework which can be fiddly and the bleeding part. heres a list of parts you need off the top of my head gearbox ;) fluid clutch(new) inc spigot/release bearing. flywheel (new or skimmed) clutch bolts &washers flywheel bolts rear transmission plate gearbox bolts especially the longer one @5 oclock MT propshaft rear crossmember should be on gearbox clutch booster TT clutch pedal slave cylinder master cylinder brake pedal (or cut old one to size and use MT brake pedal rubber) hydraulic pipework or get one made with the correct fittings from goodridge) x2 rubber boots for transmission tunnel gear linkage and shifter new bushes preferably gear gator gearknob ;) Tip if your doing it from home, on my 200s14a i cut the brake pedal down and fitted rubber cover from a manual car, whilst there i removed the plate between firewall and cabin to fit clutch pedal, on a 300zx this is mearly tacked on so can be pryed away, the 200sx has to be cut to suit  !! when you fit the booster and clutch pedal you can still drive the car around with 3 pedals whist its still auto, advantage saves you a job when it comes to it! as to be honest the only **** ass part is a)removing the auto spigot from the back of the crank. And fitting the booster and pedal! the rest is no differant than doing a clutch change!! the only other thing to do is bridge the wiring to start the car, you can then figure how to wire up the reverse lights later! hth greg
