  13. you can take the heads off in situ, if thats what you mean? but its better to just remove the engine, saves alot of hassle, and that way everything can be checked properly!!
  14. no offence intended mick ;) you wont be likely to remove anything from the exhaust side of the turbo, but you will be able to check wether turbo is clogged up and not opperating as it should, you can then diagnose why boost is limited. and then hopefully root further to find problem.

  19. get them to take the rear downpipe off. You can then check for movement on turbo impeller, and check for seizure/play. They should of done that already though?
