  1. According to the database your sub ran out on the 18th. You would have automatically been sent a reminder shortly before, but it is most likely that it will have been caught in your spam filter.
  2. The little screw is only to hold the disc in place whilst you're putting the wheel on, it doesn't have to be there.
  3. 13 days ? Not that quick !! LOL :D
  4. Yep, he has, just gotta sort it with Iain. tbh we should have done this ages back, but real life has interrupted forum life recently.
  5. Rides is the major issue with the software upgrade. A bigger problem is having someone to do the upgrade of course ...
  6. I'm going to talk to Iain this week. Don't hold your breath though ...
  7. In that case they've got you where they want you. And just to justify it they'll paint you as a 'green victory'.
  8. Yeah, drove down through that from the NW home to Essex last night -A14 was a nightmare ...
  9. Suzi Perry deserves a mention ....
  10. Turn over and face the other way, it almost always stops it.
  11. Well that's not a problem !
  12. Except that my 3 litre diesel was doing over 47mpg last night !
  13. This could be due to the steering wheel being off-centre. If you drive in a straight line for a number off miles with the steering wheel off centre then the car assumes there is a fault with the HICAS and the warning light comes on. If so, it's a simple fix - just move the steering wheel a notch on the splined shaft, it is possible that you may need to get the tracking adjusted, depending upon how much it's been messed with in the past.
  14. Yeah, but if the thread is already gone and you're going to tap it to a larger size, then the coarser imperial thread is more suited to soft alloy.
  15. You may be able to use an imperial rather than a metric one. Find a friendly engineering shop, or a motor factor who'll yet you look at all the similar sized bleed nipples.
  16. Yep, reckon so. Thanks !
  17. Reference :- TFR 90600104315000 BGC 000000 INTERN 9270 Arrived on 14th Nov.
  18. Hmmm, so true ....
  19. Lots of companies are now starting to take Paypal instead, or as well as, credit cards. I suspect that for a small business the transaction costs are lower.
  20. Mine needs the clutch fluid replacing - looks same colour as CocaCola at the moment - ugh. I'm around next weekend .
  21. Brick cleaner & dog puke are probably similarly acidic. Suggest you get a mixture of the two and pour it on the bonnet of whomever drove into your van !
  22. And you're going to soldering this in are you ? LOL :D

The run up to Christmas is busy for everybody ! In the past we've had pretty big meetings down at Chafford Hundred - 22 or more cars once, also had reasonable turnout at the Dick Turpin. The Z Club also have their monthly meet on the first Sunday of each month at the Halfway House. Not being negative but evening drinks tend to be poorly received unless you are all local and can walk. The SE is also a pretty big area so for people like Darrell (near Luton, who seems to go to most meets), it's a fair distance to Southend. I think what with work parties and the inevitable Xmas shopping chores for Sat/Sun it will be a herculean effort to get a big bunch of people together around this time. However, that dead gap inbetween Xmas and New Year could be much easier.
