  1. Who do you want a message sending to mate?
  2. Have you just come back from a holiday? Why not buy an MX5 for the Summer and then sell it on and buy yourself a nice 60" plasma TV for the Winter?
  3. Be mindful of the fact that massively wide, heavy rims with negative offset will put additional strain on the hubs, it's not catastrophic but it 'may' cause wear at a quicker rate (especially if your zed's hubs have 80,000+ miles on them already). It's no different to running 50mm spacers with slightly narrower rims, though wider rims are generally heavier and will cause wear quicker. I stand to be corrected, should there be somebody who has been running 14"JJ x 18"JJ rims for the last 50,000 miles with no adverse effects on their hubs Wide rear isn't too bad but for God's sake don't go rediculously wide on the front or it'll drive like a pile of turd
  4. If he doesn't know what the problem is how can he quote £3k to fix it??
  5. I thought they were, I bought a set back in '07 but never got around to driving them
  6. Are those rims BK Racing 993?
  7. Depends what you want to achieve I suppose bud, though if you're putting an S body front on a Z32 you're throwing away the rule book anyway... it could still be elegant just not in a boring same/same kind of way
  8. Are they catching front or rear bud? here's a pic of them on the LWB fitted with TEIN's and DW camber arms they look like 245's on the front which were the same I think?
  9. It'll work, but I think 'flush to the ground' straight URAS drift style skirts and rear bumper would be needed just my opinion of course
  10. Just got back from France literally half an hour ago so catching up... There's a guy on Driftworks who has £3k to spend on an S13 which would leave him with £1500 to carry out a manual conversion and bolt on some bits, I have no idea if he's interested bud
  11. It's cleared regularly, but I found it on Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3728013.htm at least I didn't imagine it
  12. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FU64cDx69f8
  13. Wasn't somebody advertising a 180sx/200sx auto for sale on here a few days ago belonging to their mother inlaw/Aunt etc Someone on DW is looking for a tidy one that's all, and I can't find it Maybe I imagined it???
  14. The current situation is this: The SWB driveshafts are off the car, so that I could get the hubs into a vice in order to remove the stock ball joints, however one of the knuckles has taken a bit of a pounding in the process. I have a spare set of knuckles still fitted to the LWB that have the ball joints removed already so I am considering swapping these over, the only problem is that the gearbox is no longer on the LWB and so I have no way of removing the driveshafts (as they keep spinning) The DW Geomaster2 option is not looking good as the HKS coilovers that I bought just as a trial fit, are not looking very promising (the top plate is a lot larger than that of the Z32 Teins and they need a bit of tidying up) So I figure that as a way of getting the car on track sooner rather than later, a spare set of knuckles with DW bushes fitted would be the simplest option right now
  15. This ^^^^^ was fine with the gerabox fitted Next question, How would you go about removing the driveshaft from a zed with the gearbox removed? Obviously it can't be 'locked off in gear' in the same way, that is possible when the gearbox is fitted
  16. Does anybody have instructions or pics for fitting a Cusco brake stopper? cheers
  17. What was the guy thinking, getting a car that was too small for his number plate! If I was him I'd go get a bigger ride....
  18. I've got aspare pair of Top Speed back boxes for a SWB, no centre pipes though
  19. Who's the ugly sod behind you mate?
