  1. cheers mate, I'm just racking my brain working through some measurements and offsets at the moment
  2. So to answer my own question, at a guess I would think that rolling, pulling and flaring the arches should enable the outer edge of the rim to sit an extra 15mm-20mm further out without having to go down the wide arch kit route?
  3. Just as a matter of interest what rim width and offsets are you running on the rear mate and generally what offset (with slight tyre stretch) on a 10" wide rim do you think you'll get away with by just rolling the arches?
  4. now I don't want to hear any poor taste references to test drives fellas' :whistling:
  5. Well you're subbed now so in thoery you could sell your grandmother......and if she owns a zed.......well, sell that aswell!
  6. I like the idea of that RSM mate and yeah, a shift light would be a useful tool
  7. just for reference this is what a 245 tyre looks like on a 10" wide rim, perfectly fine in my opinion
  8. The bottom bit does look like a tooth, you're right there
  9. Surprised me that people don't like them....maybe these are more to some peoples taste
  10. In the current climate exposure is king. As mentioned previosuly: Ebay classified ad Pistonheads Gumtree All zed forums and as many events that you can attend with a big 'For sale' sign in the window Wait for a really nice sunny day and get down to the beach to take some pics, preferably with a bird in a bikini draped over the bonnet (but that's just for the old folk on here)
  11. I just spotted these on another forum quite possibly the most stunning seats I've ever seen, and Lotus only ever made 4 of them...
  12. Just go fully adjustable mate, the Driftworks kit is decent and well priced....
  13. You can adjust it...an eccentric bolt I believe?
  14. I've struck a deal with a driver on DW for some nice JDM rimmage and I'm collecting them this Saturday from Castle Combe. Nice deep dish on 9j front/10j rear though I'm going to have to roll the rear arches a tad next week to have it all ready for Japfest (tickets and track pass arrived today) :nana2:
  15. Ayrton Senna 'The Whole Story' by Christopher Hilton It's a compilation of several other Christopher Hilton books on Senna and is a comprehensive insight into the life and career of the man himself, from his early days of karting, racing in F1, to Imola and beyond. I highly recommend this to any Senna or F1 fan.... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ayrton-Senna-The-Whole-Story/dp/1844250962/ref=sr_1_sc_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1335262014&sr=1-1-spell
  16. Yes mate, I'm still traumatised from doing the rear bushes :hang: so my lazy ass' literally only got around to doing the front the other day when I fitted the DW kit I'll take pics tomorrow for you and if you want it I'll box it up and get it over to you mate. The lower arms, upper arms and tension rods look ok...one of the inner tie rods is FUBAR (I had to cut it off because it laughed at me!!)
  17. He's trying to sell ramps....and....and.....and he's not a trader.....ban him, in fact ban him now!!!!! only messing, it actually sounds like quite a good idea mate. Would you be looking at tool hire at the same time?
  18. No....but I think his Hunter system needs re-calibrating
  19. I bet that bad boy handles just like an F1 car....fookin' not!!!
  20. Personally if it was me mate I'd tell the girlfriend to wind her neck in and put the beemer on ebay tonight and then sell the caravan and buy a VW camper van with the intention of carrying out a VG conversion or none of the above and just fit a detachable tow bar to the zed don't sell the zed, that'll just make you really sad and grumpy
  21. but aren't Stillen a US company mate? Sounds like you've got an interesting example there, maybe there's a way that you can check the history using the VIN...
  22. Let me know beforehand and I'll get the BBQ out bud
  23. No probs mate I'm in Wales all weekend and London all day Monday but as soon as I get back to 'H' I'll open the package, take some pics and fire them across to you I'll give you a bell Tuesday bud
