  1. I didn't want to talk to you lot anyway :tt2:
  2. As title, I've seen a few forums that have a live chat room where you can pop in and chat to anybody else in there....I think if we had one it might be a quicker way of asking the odd question rather than having to start a new thread and waiting for replies etc Was just a thought
  3. that's what stickers and decals are for
  4. That's one of the benefits of rattle can's mate
  5. this is pretty much exactly the amount of flare on the rear arch that I want
  6. after a few lower arm adjustments it's looking better already. I've ordered an arch roller so that I can flare the arches.. and it's booked in for a 4 wheel alignment next Wednesday
  7. Does anybody have a pair of coilover 'C' spanners (preferably Tein if possibly) that they want to sell? cheers Pez
  8. I know that the MAP sensor can screw into the plenum but as a temprary fix, is it possible to run the MAP sensor off the balance bar using a length of 6mm vacuum hose and the vacuum hose attachment screwed to the sensor?
  9. Next question, does the EMS actually 'have to' use the supplied Bosch sensor/s or will it just run normally on stock O2 sensors as a temporary measure?
  10. Cheers mate, that's exactly what I've been looking for :thumbup1:
  11. I opened the door on my shortie' and I found one of these sat in the driving seat!!! it took me aback for a second and then I realised that I hadn't actually handed over the keys to the truck yet.....as soon as I handed them over Marty got out, jumped in the truck and went home :tt2:
  12. What they said ^^^^ I personally won't end any of my listings early if it has bids on it but if it has no bids and somebody shows genuine interest in buying it then I'll happily end the listing early giving the reason that the 'Item is no longer available for sale'
  13. I've tried that mate and the answer that I found was that the AEM MAP sensor uses pin #35 http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php?topic=20987.0 but the ECU pin out table shows pin #35 as fuel pump voltage control http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct...PM2eUxdcUSLtcg I'm happy as to where the sensor taps into but not where you're supposed to wire it into?
  14. *Dan, your inbox is full bud* Here you go mate a little history on this....it's the wing off the Whifbitz Time Attack RX7 not 100% certain on the exact model but I believe it's a GTC300 and measures 67" across It's possible to mount carbon plates to the bottom if you wanted to cover up the previous mounting holes but personally I'd just use tape. it looks friggin' awesome in my opinion but it depends what you're looking for mate
  15. Really old thread granted but I'm struggling to find any MAP sensor answers either here or on google :headvswal there are a few references in old posts to 'stock' MAP sensors (they're not referring to the MAF) but an actual MAP sensor?? any ideas if there are actually any MAP sensors/connectors etc fitted as standard to later gen zeds?
  16. It's not connected to anything (the one to the left of the brake fluid pot held in place with blue tape) is it boost for stock gauge/AFR/MAP I haven't got a clue??????
  17. Need some advice on this asap... http://forum.aempower.com/forum/index.php?topic=20987.0 all I can find at the moment is this ^^^^ making reference to (pin number 35) being for the MAP sensor???? and have just found this which says that #35 is for the fuel pump voltage control http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=300zx%20pin%20number%2035&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CEgQFjAE&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fairladyz32.com%2Fdownloads%2Fimages%2Fuseful_pics%2Fecu.pdf&ei=HYuhT87yIu7E4gSZ1tmXCQ&usg=AFQjCNEmroCLzwXFrXK4PM2eUxdcUSLtcg
  18. I'm impressed with the quality of the SPL tie rods that I've just fitted and figured that the SPL droplinks would be just as high quality These are the ones that I've ordered from SPL, they look a lot more substantial than the '****line' ones Our endlinks feature massive 1/2” bearings to provide the highest load capacity for use with stiffer aftermarket sway bars. High misalignment bearings offer greater misalignment capability (65deg) than stock endlinks to prevent the endlink from binding when used with different adjustment holes on aftermarket sway bars. Our endlinks are also length adjustable to eliminate preload on the sway bars, which can result from uneven settling of springs or uneven suspension heights from corner weighting. I just hope that they turn up in the next few days!!
  19. Yeah, I kind of figured that a wide arch would be needed. I popped down to see a mate this afternoon; he runs a garage in Hereford with his son. They put me in touch with a metal fabricator not too far from my place and after speaking with them on the phone, they reckon that they can sort the arches and fab some metal flares so that I can keep the lines looking fairly natural. They can't do it for at least 4 weeks though, so it actually takes some of the pressure off now. The skirts are painted and should be ready to go back on tomorrow. I've arranged a meeting with a place called Clutch Clinic, I've met the owner a few times now, and he's gonna' be fitting my new clutch and prop. That at least will be a few more jobs off the list...
  20. Where does the MAP sensor get wired into? I've connected the sensor to the supplied cable but there are 3 bare end wires (Ground/5v and Signal) that obviously go somewhere, I assume these need to plug into the EMS somehow??
