My latest SWB TT Z32 build
Yeah already onto that mate, the ones currently fitted were put on there temporarily to test the circuit in order to isolate the small electrical fault that we found I've got these to go on tomorrow

Fill your boots mate, though this was taken on my Blackberry so I'll try to get some better ones as soon as I've fitted the washer jets

Cheers bud, and Yeah I know what you mean mate about it being a shame, but after the last project I decided that I wanted a sound base to work from and credit to Marty and the previous owners, this shortie' is immaculate. I suspect that this engine won't last too long, especially in this heat, so I'd best get cracking and finish the other one off quick as for deep pockets and friends  I have some good friends who have helped me and my business grow in a very short period of time, and their garages really are something to behold. I'll try to do this build justice and get some seat time in sooner rather than later

I'm running spacers on the rack at the mo' and opted for DW geomaster arms as the standard straight DW arms were catching on full lock. I'll see how I get on with this and will adjust accordingly

ASD hydro imported from the US, I opted for this as it's the same one that 'D-Mac' (Darren Mcnamarra) is running in Formula Drift The clutch swap was long over due thanks to a few motorway/duel carriageway encounters that effectively killed my old one

My latest SWB TT Z32 build
I thought it was about time that I started a build thread for my SWB TT manual, as my old LWB TT manual build was a big fat failure (read: ended up getting cut up into bits on my driveway and carted off to the scrappy in the back of a pikey's transit van!!) I figured that this time, rather than give a step by step commentary of its progress (which can be depressing when progress comes crashing to a halt) this time I decide that I'd build it first and when it was pretty much ready to hit the track, only then would I write it all up afterwards.. Here's the old girl as of yesterday afternoon, about 99% ready to rock: (big thanks have to go to 'Monster' and Whifbitz for some really nice parts at very generously low prices) *I'm currently running a tidy VG30DETT that had been tinkered with in Japan, I'll run this until I kill it this Summer by which time I should have finished re-building the forged lump (below). camber/caster advice please...
It's a new patented design that automatically shoots birds out of the sky before they take a dump on my bonnet!! no, I ran the new pipework yesterday from within the bay to where the jets will go, it's just the jets that we picked up were too small so just waiting on a new set and then I'll pop them in I'll let the alignment guys do their thing, I had a 2 hour lesson off the owner last time on all things 'car geometry' and I still walked away a bit confused  I've got the jist of it now though...sort of?
-
Whiteline 'heavy duty' droplinks....my arse!
Much better...
-
camber/caster advice please...
after a little bit of faffing about the front arches just went straight on. The fitment is ok apart from a gap where it meets the front bumper...however, this isn't due to the arches it's actually the dodgy fitment of the Stillen bumper they'll get smashed up anyway so I'm not overly concerned about the odd gap here and there and yeah, all going well I'll have this out at a few DWYB days this Summer....luckily somebody's got free use of an old USAF base to practice and hone his skills...what's the old saying, it's not what you know etc etc
-
camber/caster advice please...
Cheers bud, those flared rear arches are deceptive...those are 10j rims on there with an offset of (ET -7) and only running 1/2 degree of negative camber. I can run up to 255's on the rear without needing to tap the arch anymore....99% ready to go skidding
