  1. As title what would be the pro's and con's of this setup?
  2. Unless a stock hatch is lighter than a 'one finger lift' carbon fibre hatch, I think you'll be ok mate Is it fitted yet and did the rear strip survive?
  3. Thanks mate, I'll get onto this tomorrow
  4. Well I've done some searching and can't find anything that really helps with my current situation All of the rear arms are now off the SWB and the HICAS arm has successfully been seperated from the rear ball joint. The intention was to heat and beat the ball joint/bush out whilst it was on the car, however that is looking very unlikely. So I decided to remove the hub. I bought the 36mm socket that was required but typically it's not possible to undo this whilst the arms are removed, as the hub just turns on the driveshaft So option three is to remove the dive shaft from the diff and heat and beat the ball joint out in a vice.... My question is this, can the driveshaft be removed by simply (or not) removing these bolts attaching the drive shaft to the diff? or are there more bolts that also need to be removed? *I've read elsewhere that the transmission support bar needs to be removed along with the rear section of the exhaust* Once these bolts are removed is it just a case of tapping with a hammer to free it?
  5. 'If you can not see who was driving then its down to the police to prove you was the driver' Not the case anymore, the Police don't have to prove anything....and you'll only end up with 6 points and a hefty fine going down that route just ask my wife....
  6. Mine looks better when my eyes are closed....
  7. Just blame the wife!!! *obviously your own, not mine....
  8. and Marty appologises for the lack of detailed response....he's currently in Belfast hospital having his toe sewn back having shot it off earlier this morning.....
  9. Nah, the gympy's for chicks and door gunners :whistling: .50 cal all day long! http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=paras%2050%20cal%20site%3Ayoutube.com&source=web&cd=5&ved=0CDwQtwIwBA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DmTZoNTL3Ie8&ei=7xFET7m-F8rC8QOPwuWoCA&usg=AFQjCNGRxO8e74y_HM_wtZgR4Sx5mCIPJw or then there's this bad boy....

  11. Soarer...Gutless....I assume it was the non turbo model then?
  12. Looks good mate, your friend has made some nice changes. I'd definately go for the number plate relocation aswell, rather than covering the fmic. If you do decide to sell then you now know where to go in order to get some really nice pics for the ad
  13. Works Seeker LX apparently
  14. Cheers bud completely forgot to list them on ebay, doh! I'll do it this afternoon
  15. The top set look like BBS to me, really nice, in fact a pair of those would go nicely with the pair of SSR's that I've got on a ship coming over from Japan at the moment. BBS actually look good on a zed I think. *I've asked what the rims are on DW, so hopefully somebody will know. Right I'm off to bed catch you later bud
  16. I'll ask one of the JDM wheel spotters on Driftworks, someone will know
  17. the centre caps read 'Seeker'...so maybe they are actually Works Seeker rims??
  18. See....even the name of the bloody wheels was wrong....in both listings!!! Ha, ha....so that means that whoever's got the car now has the wrong wheels.....I win!!!........oh, hang on......no
  19. I'll mention it in my book.....
  20. Right, this thread needs a hefty dose of testosterone so here goes..... Standby.......Go!!!! http://www.flixya.com/video/4588457
  21. Can't say on here mate, but more than happy to let you flick through the 4 folders of evidence that my solicitor has. I scanned and posted a fraction of the evidence on another forum which proved 100% that he was a thieving scammer and showed him up for what he truly is. As always when a contentious issue is highlighted the thread is usually closed.....so no surprise really that when the thread was not just closed but was also deleted completely, most people with half a brain cell knew that it went deeper and still question it..... the guy likes to hang about with Z rate celebrities and made waves within the scene by bringing over a certain professional driver from Japan......wasn't until later that peopel realised that the guy that was brought over shared the same surname as the guy that they thought it was.....doh!!! Ironically enough, that same Japanese guy is (1 x Japanese)!!! I'll just PM mate it's easier
  22. Honestly mate, that isn't even the half of it, it go's a lot deeper and involves a lot more people that I guarantee some of you guys will know ****EDIT: Not zed related!! . These day's very respectable businessmen...unfortunately early 2000's was very different and it's a case of skeleton's in closset To be honest though, I'm not even that bothered about the money now, it's the fact that he's still ripping people off and still has the ordacity to walk about like he's Eddie Jordan or something The one thing that really annoys me and I just can't drop it is the fact that fat man knew exactly where that money came from. I was basically blinded and had various other head and brain injuries when working overseas back in 2006, and that money was part of the compensation payout. He knew this and still took it, which I just can't forgive or forget (which is ironic because I've got really bad memory problems due to my injuries) Still, you live and learn don't you.....well apart from the zed specialist later that same year who cost me another £10,000.....how much of a knob am I?
  23. I haven't really got any pics of the rims, this is about it and yeah, it's mine but I don't have it.....long story short: International car ringing scam (1x American, 1 x Japanese, 1 x Kiwi and 1 x Welsh/English fat man who runs a drift team) *did involve 1 x Italian owner of a well known garage in Italy but he was also screwed by said fat man and has since been providing me with all of his invoices etc* American and Japanese build copy cars and sell to individuals in UK, American does a runner with the money, Japanese and Kiwi 'appear' to be helping the poor guys who've been ripped off by supplying cars worth a fraction of the original car bought (all good as something is better than nothing) it turns out that Japanese and Kiwi are not quite what they seem, they fall out and Kiwi sues Japanese.....meanwhile muggins' here buys Kiwi's car that was advertised at the time by both American and fat man (yep we'll come back to him!) Muggins' is told by Kiwi to pay fat man the money as he's the authorised importer and informed that American is a scammer....happy days muggins hands over £15,000 to fat man 7 months go by (supposed to be parked on my drive within 6 weeks) muggins eventually gets the call to collect car but price has gone up, muggins has to hand over another £1500 Muggins is a mug and goes to pay.....unfortunately instead of the 1995 600brake newly built FD which he paid for, muggins' is offered a 1992 400brake FD in shit state Muggins' refuses to accept car....legal battle.....fat man agrees refund....fat man re-sells the 'copy' car and keeps that money aswell.... fat man registers his company in missus name....she files for insolvency (muggins' is told he'll get maximum of £1000 paid back over 5 years).....fat man's missus then files for bankruptcy so muggins' get's nothing *where are all the assets??? Muggins' associates assist and discover £106,000 cash withdrawls, £100k money transfers to American and £100k+ transfers to Italian Muggins' has no car, and doesn't get his money back fat man (no names mentioned obviously) at time of declaring bankrupt employs Australian champion and Irish champion to drive both of their newly built cars, subsequently winning the 2010 and 2011 championship (not bad for a company that are broke!) fat man is outed on another forum and pinged as the scammer that he is, he doesn't want to play on said forum anymore Australian driver bins association with fat man, Irish driver sticks around though and fat man's team now have sponsorship with a big brake manufacturer ready to start the 2012 season Muggins' obviously is still not happy and still wants his car! Lot's of detail skipped over their but if anybody sit's down with me long enough to have a cup of tea, you'll no doubt have me bore the living shit out of you talking you through it in fine detail **Apparently the writers of Fast & Furious 6 have used it as the basis for the 6th film!! but nice wheels though eh....
  24. It is my car, and to date it's cost me £22,000, I've just never recieved it because of a thieving scumbag who pulled the old bankruptcy sketch, ripping off myself, other companies and banks for hundreds of thousands of pounds. The day he shut up shop he drove just a mile down the road and opened 'his new' premises. It's amazing how many legal loopholes there are when you make a slight name change to a business' name (ie. by simply adding the word 'Japanese') the wheels are 18" Works Emotions and would have looked nice parked outside my house
