Really makes you think about how they did it?
Interesting story that mate, and that's the strange thing about many a soldiers mentality, from day one you learn to do what you're told, when you're told and for the most part your own personal views and opinions must be put on the back burner. Mate, I'm sure that your uncle was one of many SS soldiers that despite disagreeing with the policies of those above him were first and foremost soldiers, who did what they were ordered to do. War does strange things to people, it can bring out both the best and the worst in people, as many accounts of attrocities against civillians in Vietnam demonstrated. I'm not in anyway condoning similar actions, however until a person has walked in a person's shoes, witnessed what they have witnessed and endured what they have endured there is no way that anybody can say for certain that they would act any differently if placed in similar circumstances. War's dirty and judgement can't and shouldn't be determined many years later by non combatants viewing the situation through idealistic eyes the big man will judge when the day comes

No I dropped those off yesterday with a company down at Rotherwas. we recieved the quote yesterday which was a bit steep but he's said that they would be done within 24hrs if we agreed for them to go ahead with the work

Satin black/carbon drift zed
I'm finishing off the doors and rear 1/4's tomorrow, and that will be me with a tidy satin black/carbon fibre SWB TT drifter, all ready for applying the sponsors decals (more on that in a day or so ) night time pics are never the best, so I'll get some better pics taken tomorrow I reckon another few days and it'll be ready for it's first outing I'll be honest, I'm quite excited about how well this project has progressed in such a short period of time loads to tell but just waiting on contracts to be signed :ninja:

Bov adaption, which pipe gets blanked off?
I visited a mate who owns a scrappy in Hereford and he steered me towards next door to get some custom hard pipes fabricated...the guy did both there and then and only charged £15 all in here's the result I'm well chuffed with them, so plan on fitting these tomorrow.....just got to find two bungs now

Bov adaption, which pipe gets blanked off?
Yeah this one is for an S14 I've got two others that were on a duel hard pipe, which came off an R34 GTR like a div'....as per usual I'm trying to do things the hard way

Bov adaption, which pipe gets blanked off?
I only realised myself about 2 minutes before I posted the thread....one of those 'aahh I see....that explains it' moments

Bov adaption, which pipe gets blanked off?
Is it the top or the bottom pipe that gets blanked off....I can't remember which I did last time? One of my Arc bov hard pipes has one pipe blanked off already so no need for a bung to that end I've got to get this: to fit either the drivers side or the passengers side and then get a second hard pipe fab'd to fit the opposite side tomorrow

Why havent these sold?

Why havent these sold?
Wasn't the 128k ZX Spectrum actually about 3 models down the line? The 128k + and +2 (with built in cassette and the later one still with the built in disk) came after. There was that dodgy looking one with no raised keys ZX81 and then there was the next one with the rubber keys (which was the '84 I think). It's been 25-30 years so I can't remember the exact details but I think that was about right anyone remember 'Horrice goes skiing' and 'Leapfrog'?

Hydraulic handbrake fitting?
I'll take a look at that now, that sounds pretty simple?

Changes to MOT rules in 2012 - Are you ready?
Maybe just carry a set of brand new packaged OEM bulbs purchased from a Nissan dealership, in the glovebox, that way when you do get pulled (record the conversation on a dictaphone; for your own future reference only etc) then replace the HID's with stock bulbs at the officers request. He'll clearly see how shockingly shit the stock bulbs are, but no doubt will be so anally retentive that he'll insist that you keep them fitted......then proceed 20yds down the road and drive straight into the nearest bush minor whiplash, minimal damage to vehicle and then take legal action against the Police for 'lack of due diligence' Simples!

someone in East London check out a zed for me please :)
Is it a LWB? :whistling: *grabs his coat....*

Hydraulic handbrake fitting?
I assume this is the point that you mean mate: where would the return line going back to the hydro unit tap in?
